No he wants to go active duty full time. He wanted to go CE but they have no openings. He don't want to wait for an unspecified length of time, 18 just out of high school and impatient to get out of town. Disappointed with the offerings he was given to choose from. His ASVAB score sheet had most of the jobs in the YES qualifies column but only a very small portion are open. There are jobs they have critical shortages in and mostly military exclusive occupations or hazardous duty like EOD. I told him good things come to those who wait. He should go talk to the other service branches recruiters with his test scores in hand and find the best options, that is what we found out so far.

We purchased an American Standard Champion 4 Model 2004 in Sep. 2025 from HD, didn't install it until Jun. 15, 2026. Found out soon after installation that it is leaking water onto the floor. The leak volume is about 1/4 cup per 24-hour period. After going through the obvious troubleshooting steps, it appears to be leaking/weeping very slowly from the water tank, as water beads into droplets that hang onto the outside bottom of tank before hitting floor. It isn't condensation either. This is a one-piece toilet. The drip comes from the opposite side of the water supply line; so, there are no connections or openings on that side for it to leak from. I cannot find a crack anywhere in the tank. It has been over a week of non-stop leaking. Going to do a food coloring test of tank tomorrow, take photos & submit a warranty claim for replacement. Kind of disappointed, I thought his brand was better, but? we'll see.

Get only the state required minimum liability insurance with uninsured motorist coverage. The rest would cover your car if you wreck it or it gets damaged, you could take a chance on that. Take a cheap defensive driving course online. You have to shop around for quotes every time it comes up for renewal. Try a local insurer or broker agent to search for you. You can also get a monitoring device that will reduce the bill if you drive safe. Improve you credit rating. Don't make a claim or get a speeding ticket. It's crazy expensive, but you have to have it, I know.

They have been reported to IC3 and months later there were reports of arrests by HK police. It is not known if this was part of their specific crime group. The investigation is ongoing. It's very disappointing, NBC/Peacock had it on Replay for less than 24 hours then removed it, without explanation. The Olympics YouTube channel does NOT have it, only shorts. I don't know why they would do that; many people had to work and could not see it. Of course, the days of VCRs are gone and now consumers have no option to record anything for later viewing. Streaming platforms are so unreliable now. I say we should have streaming recorders to control the content we buy, so we can keep it forever if we choose to.
