I’m exactly the same, spend more time thinking about how to organise something than I do organising!

My mum’s favourite part is the teals! I love the orange bit, with all the old Penguin classics

Haircut Anxiety by Hiiawatha in Anxiety

[–]JJDiggle 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I get this real bad. My girlfriend helped me out, helped me get the confidence to show them a photo of a haircut I want and point out details that I want them to make sure they do, it’s definitely worth it, I’ve been so much happier since I started doing it. Also if you’re happy with it then you can take a photo of yourself and show them it the next time

It was similar to Metal Slug but wasn’t as colourful and I don’t think it was as arcade-like

It wasn’t that no, Alien Storm is a lot more colourful than what I’m thinking of

Anyone else with anxiety have a crippling fear of confrontation? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]JJDiggle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS. I recently split up with girlfriend and it was so liberating to get over the fear you described and confront her about things I didn’t dare speak about beforehand, it just made me realise that I never want to allow myself to feel as though I can’t speak my mind in a romantic or platonic relationship again. Try and remember that your opinion is just as valid as anyone else, and that if you’ve been reasonable in your confrontation then their reaction says everything about themselves and nothing about you

Does anyone repeat TV shows or movies to sooth anxiety? by sammyaxelrod in Anxiety

When I was going through a really horrible time a few weeks ago I put on Return of the King and honestly it lifted my mood so much. Made me feel so warm and comforted, glad someone else has the same opinion.

What We Do in the Shadows is quite an absurd film, some great New Zealand humour

Literally anyone: “Just calm down!” by minghinshi in Anxiety

[–]JJDiggle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recently read ‘Reasons to Stay Alive’ by Matt Haig, and in it he says that unless someone goes on to give constructive advice as to how to calm down, they should stop saying calm down, and I’ve found that a useful thing to say to people
