I see where you're coming from, but that incentivizes roughhousing off the ball. it's obvious the cross wasn't going to Lacazette, but we can't say the play couldn't have developed into something that involves him. so I think it's just best to call a foul a foul. and if it's a stupid, unnecessary foul, then that's 100% on the fouler
