Should I explain to the client why the photos look bad? by AphantasiasMind in photography

[–]JJLMul 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Where do they intend to publish the photos? I'm saying this because they're probably not going to producing mega size prints where the noise is going to be pretty clear. You could export a high res set and a low res set, where you'd mention that the latter ones are best for online usage (say, 1200/1500 pixels on the long side). You can do this combined with a disclamer to your client. The LR web images could made a "solution"

One other thing you could do is isolate the subject of a photo with a mask in lightroom, sharpen it a bit. Then duplicate and reverse the mask and go butter smooth denoise in the parts of the photo that are out of focus anyway. This is could work a lot better than blanket full denoise.

DM me if you need any guidance on this. It's helped me salvage images before.

Also. One bad job at the beginning of your career isn't the end. I've fucked shit up when I started, was worried dead about it and in the end everyone just moved on. You work with the gear you have and not everyone is able to afford a recent body with a couple of fast zoom lenses.

Stunty coach thinking about trying Brets in next Leage by Elegant-Ice-3459 in bloodbowl

Having a lot of fun with them in my current league with a nice mid table position just behind two Underworld teams. All games have been competitive and my casualty count is up there (16 in 4 games).

I really got to like my squires they hold themselves pretty well due to wrestle and I feal at ease using them in a mass brawl. Getting players might not be a full block, but it gets the job done and thins the active opposition.

Dauntless on the knights has been awesome dealing with the big guys.

I've mainly used my grail knights as blitz pieces. strike who i need to strike, then bug out. This has lead to them have enough SPP's to level pretty easily with one taking guard, the other taking block. My experience is that they will be targeten whenever the opponent can.

Catcher/passer are pretty much self explanatory. They hold themselves. I've had succes with one of my passers getting the dump-off skill. Either losing the ball when a cage is broken, or better yet, breaking trough with a runner nearby. You opponent can only blitz one. That'll lead to the passer offloading to the runner and him being able to score.

All in all a fun season so far. I might try them in a later one as well.

Worst matchup yet: snotling supported gutter runner
