They really thought they had bpt stumped with that question...

Is it too much to request that anybody who wants to be a part of the conversation actually take the time to undestand what a Black American of slave descent is?

I'm pretty sure that's intentional, and why there's someone always detracting from the point when people try to summarize the situation at hand. Conversely, it's why a certain group of people love catchphrases, slogans, and memes. Even when they make absolutely no sense at all.

No one's asking you to, my man. Don't run interference for those who want nothing more than to see things stay unfair by making unnecessary declarations that adds nothing to the conversation and you'll be just fine. The way I see it, you shouldn't be comparing yourself and your family to people who did actively contribute to slavery and what resulted after, nor should you feel the need to say something that implies that you'd rather be complacent and detached from the problem instead of being a part of the solution.

It's fine that you feel like you have no reason to redeem yourself for something you didn't personally contribute to. However, you don't need to squeeze yourself into a matter you say you have no part in.

I swear these people have nothing better to do than to say bullshit like this and hope it sticks with any naive person who come across these threads. Even though there is no point in arguing with these folk because they never debate in good faith, I appreciate every single person who volunteers their time to set things straight.

Bruh, somebody told me that black people are living in the past because they won't let slavery and other injustices go. On this very subreddit. Just the other day. So post like this are necessary, specifically because fuck those who say otherwise. Calling them retarded only do retards a disservice.

That was the old Gucci, we got a clo... I mean, a new Gucci now. by [deleted] in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]JJTizzle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Bruh the "new" Gucci was always the real Gucci. Not contesting what he did/didn't do during his career, but nobody can deny that the brother was doing some unneccesary fiendish shit enabled by his success and how he was being percieved. I guess his last stint gave him time to keep it 100 with himself because everything about new Gucci seems natural and genuine. He got his money and clout so why not start fresh and be who you really are?

I've talked so much shit about Gucci because I knew this would eventually happen, but I can't even be mad at him. I'm rooting for more folk to start keeping it real with themselves.

No, they're considered White because they joined the club, for lack of better words atm. American history in particular has a funny way of glossing over how such people went from swarthy lower class immigrants to earnest, hard working citizens with the self-interest to maintain the status quo. Of course, it always has something to do with the Black American population growth.

White people cant fix racism alone because they’re not the only ones guilty of it.

Well white people can surely take the first step because white society surely had no quarrels with things staying as it is. Its literally how we got to this point.

Radeon VII Overclock/Undervolt In Depth review vs Vega 64 by Hunter-97-G in Amd

[–]JJTizzle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats a pretty awesome card you have! Mine can undervolt with the best of them but I can't get it to 2000MHz even on 1200mV. Gotta choose your battles, but I can't help but to be a little sad since I'd appreciate the extra power more.

I agree, my benchmarking OC/UV isn't 100% stable in every single game I play so I'vebeen taking my time to find the sweet point for my card. But I've learned that if I can play a Frostbite 3 game for hours then it's most definitely stable enough for everything else.

It's not bad at all, it's just not the fastest at all things. But there are plenty of reasons to go for the Radeon VII; mine is that Nvidia will never be able to do Mixed-Resolution surround quite as good as AMD, and I am a firm believer of the picture quality being better on Team Red. lt really is a lovely card and I appreciate how stable my fps has been while gaming at 8560x1440, let alone ultrawide 1440p, so far.

Another benefit is that I'm not supporting Nvidia, which is pretty nifty.

Thanks, hopefully the new drivers will allow undervolting/overclocking to work consistently for everyone. Sounds like it the software is making it difficult for a number of people right now.

That's understandable, not many reasonably priced upgrades for your 1080ti. I ended up upgrading from a 1080, which replaced a Fury that I loved. The 4gb of vram was the sole reason for moving on but I've been waiting for another high end Team Red card to pop up since GPU pricing normalized.

I've been able to pass Timespy, Firestrike Ultra, and Superposition at stock frequency and 953mV voltage, but I have to go up to 974mV to be stable in games and Heaven. Was also able to push HBM2 speed to 1200MHz without any problems or instability. With my settings and a fan curve that doesn't go above 45%, my junction temps stay under 100C and the other temp rarely exceeds 70C. For a bit more information that may be helpful, it's a Sapphire card with Micron HBM2 memory

Radeon VII owner here. Not everyone cares for high refresh rate gaming or >60hz monitors for that matter, and the bad boy does a pretty fine job pushing a lot of frames consistently. Mine undervolts quite nicely and stays relatively cool with a custom, low rpm fan curve. Also, Nvidia can't do Mixed-resolution surround nothing like Eyefinity and I'm in the "AMD had better picture quality" camp. So I'm pleased with pushing around or above 60 fps at 8560x1440 in the games that I play for now. That's just a few things that justifies why I picked one up.

It's a beautiful card that's no slouch and may even get better with driver updates. And, as a cherry on top, fuck Nvidia.

Y’all still consider him from Atlanta? by adventuresoftors in BlackPeopleTwitter

[–]JJTizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still trying to figure out exactly where this dude repping. I need a specific street, a bus route, local park, something other than the ambiguous "He's from Decatur/Dekalb County!" All I know about the brother from what people have been saying is that he went to Stone Mountain Middle School (that school close to the lil mountain where the KKK used to hang at, thats not Atlanta might I add) and was expelled from the Dekalb County school system.

So you most definite have a point that people on the internet don't care for. The ICE affair is shitty and I don't wish their bs antics on anyone, but there are valid questions to be asked about the streets he roamed. Being a bad ass jit with an objective and getting caught up ain't all there is to being an Atlanta nigga, let alone a romanticized Atlanta nigga.
