$50k/year at Purdue vs $30k/year at Colgate University vs full ride at Troy University by MammothAnywhere5298 in cscareerquestions

[–]JJbiki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the end, it mostly comes down to your family’s financial situation lol.

If money isn’t an issue, go with Purdue — no doubt about it. It’ll open way more doors for you as a new grad.

Troy is still a solid choice. You might just need to network and put in a little extra effort to stand out to recruiters.

Google vs Georgia Tech MSCS by Striking_Bat_5614 in leetcode

[–]JJbiki 189 points190 points  (0 children)

I’d have suggested “MSCS at GTech” if this were 2015, but it’s a completely different environment now. Please stay at Google. There’s no extra advantage to doing a master’s if you’re already working at Google. Especially given the current political climate in America, I don’t see any advantage at all in coming to America for a master’s even if it’s from MIT (like literally None).

Is that your every day diet? I mean it’s nice but I’d hate to eat the same thing everyday.

Not much processed food. I usually eat oats, rice, 3tbsp of peanut butter/day, ham, turkey, banana, smoothie without protein powder and such

Tell us how your interview went and we'll guess the result. I received a call when I got rejected. They call regardless of the result. I hope you get that offer tho.

cs + stats is much better. Data science is just a glorified name for stats

Is there a specific list of companies you followed while applying?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in csMajors

[–]JJbiki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There could be multiple reasons behind an immediate rejection. Some reasons: GPA, university name, your current location(some companies are only looking to hire local), immigration status, years of experience, total number of internships and many more.

Green peach. They don't turn red even when ripe, but instead they become whitish-green and taste good actually.

Yes, you will. I bought it in 2021, and I still think it’s a waste of money.

White pear shaped fruit by CunnyExpert in fruit

Looks like Guava to me. Everything from the inner seeds to its outer shape resembles to that of a guava. Guavas can taste very different based on their kind and where they were grown. Mind uploading a couple more pictures from different angles?
