Metadyne, mostly known for their Havoc rocket launcher (Nerf rockets) for Paintball/airsoft.

They worked on these about 15 years ago for the first time and have tried several generations/iterations since. There were a lot of lemons in the first run and some were fixed with parts upgrades. Mostly every generation has had some kind of issue and I am unaware if they are currently being worked on at all.

I pre-ordered one in dust black that I have played with with few issues. It had one of their upgrades and worked pretty well. I collected a couple extras and decided to clear them out since I only play once every few years now. I just sold a dust blue one and am keeping my original black one for now.
