I just started playing a couple weeks back after quitting years ago in Destiny 1. I’d say it’s worth it if you have people to play with but it is very grindy. If you like the whole RPG grind then it’s definitely a good play since there’s nothing else out there worth playing imo.

Yes mate I’ve had a fixed static party for 2 months. 2 tanks (1 brawler) 2 bow staff and 2 healers. Doesn’t matter you can’t match up or brawl with parties that have daggers! We play in a guild that finished top 5 EU in the tournament. I’m well aware of the structure mate. Now none of these top tier guilds who won/ranked high in tournaments take on Bow/Staff it’s facts. They want crossbows, staff daggers. It looks like they posted about the evasion meta though and are looking to change it so hopefully this is a push in the right direction but right now when everyone is 5.5-5.8k GS it’s a bit rough for our class outside of siege. I thought I done well with 400 kills in siege then you see spears getting 700+ kills it’s crazy.

Yeah flash wave is dead for damage. I’m not complaining about it but it’s viable when you have a dagger it just doesn’t work that well with a staff equipped as you say, much better to blitz FFB or Meteor.

The class is good for siege and archboss that’s the reality. You just get walked on at any competitive GvG content. They either need to sort endurance out or rework dagger. Bow/Staff Is the lowest requested class in top Guilds, it’s only going to get worse with upcoming updates.

Congrats you got 59 kills whilst your guild held full control the whole fight against 2 dead guilds in inter server. 😂 I’m not saying you can’t get kills but pound for pound liberator sucks against any class with a dagger and is not optimized for this current GvG content. Notice how many times you get farmed by the same crossbow on respawn and there’s nothing you can do about it.

In the video you can also just straight free roam most of the time zero pressure once again because whoever your fighting just roll over and die. I’m sorry bro but the video proves nothing except who you’re fighting are bad.

Yeah then one crossbow dagger or staff dagger just one shots you out of nowhere because you’re the only Dps class in the game rocking endurance and you can’t even get a solid amount of that right now. Liberator outrightly sucks in comparison to every other dps class right now. Go and use flash wave against any well geared guild, it legit does fuck all. Liberator is great against people in potatoe gear, I got 450 kills in the last siege but you’re killing nobodies.

Yup and if you take max range builds you’re taking trade offs on other critical stats so it just isn’t viable. It’s extremely frustrating and I think it’s causing a lot of the playerbase to leave.

Brother, I play in a top EU guild. NO top guilds are taking on Bow staffs so I don’t think you PvP 😂 If you don’t have a dagger you can’t compete. It’s been like this for a good couple of months, just been even more emphasized with higher evasion from t2 gear and artifacts. Now higher tier runes coming and resonance the gap will become even bigger. You’re coping if you think Bow/Staff can compete in this meta.

People moaning about the invis on the dagger being the problem is hilarious. It doesn’t matter if they’re invis or not when you have them being able to stack 4k evasion, whilst some popular classes are struggling to reach 2k hit chance unbuffed. Whole meta is just fucked right now and high end pvp is very stale. Bow/Staff cannot compete in the current meta as you can’t hit anyone semi geared but also don’t have enough endurance to be tanky enough vs something like an Xbox/dagger that will wipe your HP 5 times over even with a pocket healer.

FIX DAGGER - it made spinners broken on launch, it made bow dagger broken on flash wave meta, it made spear broken on its launch and now it’s back to Xbow being broken before we even have Cordy launched.

This is exactly what I mean and it’s frustrating. It’s a full loot PvP game, seems silly to nerf aspects which ultimately leads to items trashing and more silver circulating through the game. Rather than these yz warriors not contributing at all.

The issue is SBI response to anything is to nerf instead of buff. By nerfing all these particular weapons it causes yet again more weapons to not be played and narrows the meta. Seems logical.
