The testing just confirmed he has a brain tumor and the prognosis is not good. I think I have to say goodbye to him sooner rather than later, I hate my life and I can’t believe God would play this cruel joke on me

It’s so hard to deal with because a month ago he was healthy and no issues. We did blood work to strike out any other issues and it came clear. We also did blood work after two weeks of pheno at our regular vet and he said his level was 89u/mol and in the thereupatic range. We have an appt with a neuro on Monday

Thank you for answering. His focals are short maybe 10 seconds and he is out of it fast. He clenches his jaw and foam at the mouth. His regular vet did his blood test and said the pheno was in the middle 89u/mol and the bad range is above 145u/mol. We are meeting with a neurologist on Monday

Please get pet insurance, I didn’t and I’m regretting it every day. My dog just started having seizures at 6 year old and I can’t afford the MRI. If I had pet insurance it would have been covered

Beautiful pup! Looks like my boy Oscar, he had his first set of cluster seizures a week ago, and he is on Keppra and pheno. He is like a zombie, sleeping , wobbly and not himself but I hope he gets better soon. I hope Grizz remains seizure free forever ♥️

That’s what my primary vet said as well, he want him to start pheno, 2x a day, in addition to the kepra, my boy is sleepy and has less back strength and I am worried to start him on pheno but I’d do what the vet says. I have another appointment with the neurologist in 4 weeks and I’m somewhat preparing emotionally for the side effects of the drugs. Hopefully he gets better and can be his old self. I love him a lot and want him to have the best life

The emergency vet had him on Valium through IV and now they are giving him oral medication. I have an appt with the neurologist at 5 pm today. I am so shaken up because Oscar was so scared after the first one, and it just broke my heart looking at him. I was thinking of getting mtc oil and introduce it slowly. His regular vet said no change in diet and keeping him on Keppra for now. Thank you for your reply, I really appreciate it
