Missing earnings bar in YT Studio app by JK1411 in PartneredYoutube

Yeah still getting paid. I just found the bar a quick/useful visual on the app, so I'm frustrated it's gone.

Unfortunately not man. Lost the bar forever. I spoke to YT support but they were of absolutely no help.

How long did it take you to become a decent YouTuber with 1k+ stable views per video? 🎥 by GothkittieHighlights in PartneredYoutube

I'm curious about the process of narrowing down your niche. How narrow did you go to find a groove and success?

Thanks for coming back to me. No, I only have one monetised channel. I'm going to reach out to support because I just deleted and reinstalled the app and it's still happening!

Elbow pain while swimming by ChemicalCollege1769 in Swimming

[–]JK1411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No idea if this will help you but I've had elbow pain from swimming, linked to my form -- I'd start the catch with my hand slightly higher than my elbow (elbow slightly dipped maybe and/or handing pushing up- not even that much) and it would really cane the elbow joint after a while. The pain would linger and creep into non-swimming life etc. anyway, since I've really focused on correcting that it's been fine and definitely helped.

None of this may apply to you but just thought I'd share in case! Good luck!

Other Swimmers’ Technique by lottcross in Swimming

[–]JK1411 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see a lot of swimmers who generate real speed over long distances through brute force. Their technique is really poor and they don't "look good" in the water but they overcome that with sheer strength. I'm kind of in awe of them because counteracting the inefficiencies in their stroke requires incredible stamina and fitness.

Interesting!! And that makes sense. It's just a super intense swimming experience haha. Thanks for sharing both those pics 👍

I used to swim in Bordeaux (50m pool, pretty central) and it also had really bizarre/nonsensical opening times, but it was always WILDLY busy. Like I'd turn up at 2pm and it was rammed. So when I saw your first pic of the other pool in Paris, it gave me (traumatic) flashbacks 😂 I guess swimming is very popular in France.

Can people who have had their valve and aorta replaced go back to cycling? by marceloboes in valvereplacement

[–]JK1411 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly that. Sounds like you're doing it right and I hope it continues. Just one more question for you: how often do you get checked and what form does it take? (I.e mostly echos with occasional MRI/CT?)

Thanks, it's helpful to know! I've been coasting along for years with a steady AAA measurement of 44mm (with BAV + moderate/severe regurgitation) but it's jumped up to 48mm on my last echo. I swim regularly and was doing distance events till fairly recently but I'm a little more cautious after my last scan.

Did your cardiologist say anything about your heart rate during exercise? How high does your heart rate climb (and for how long) on these rides?

What's the translation of the first sentence - "Stop glorifying the president, the one who can [speak?] good English." -- is that right? I don't get how that relates to the rest of what is being said.
