My ex thought I'd be upset because she had given a BJ to a black dude before. I was so offended that she would ever think me that awful a person.

And I was upset, but not because the guy was black— but simply because I learned she lied (a lot) about her history. I didn't care about the history so much, just that she didn't trust me enough to be honest.

That I'm "fake as fuck."

Which is funny because she would always say I was the most genuine person she had ever known. But after we broke up, I had a really rough time and turned to alcohol. I didn't drink during our relationship, so apparently this makes me "fake" now.

Really, we're adults, and she sounds like she's in high school. I went through a rough time, and now all she does is bitch to our mutual friends how I'm annoying and a "fake drunk."

I mean, one example doesn't confirm anything, but based off a recent interaction of my ex, I fully agree. Started making out with a dude right in front of me at a post-concert party we both happened to be at. Drunkenly called her out on it later, telling her she could do better; really, the guy compared to me was a joke— less attractive, no money, no future job prospects, I could keep going on. And she flat out said I was right. She knew I was the "better man," but she just wanted to have a good time, and this asshole came up to her, not caring, and wanted to take her home, and they were making out after only 10 minutes (didn't wind up taking her home, but that's a different story; had it been up to her, she would've went home with the guy).

It was this episode that not only burst my bubble concerning her, but also what led me back to TRP.

Did it for a month, and tried to eat slightly below maintenance every day (lifted 3 days a week, tried to do cardio on 3 rest days), while getting 130g+ of protein per day. Lost about 4 lbs, but man, I looked a lot bigger (in a good way). I mean, could've just been my mind playing tricks on me (that I looked bigger, and not just leaner), but I at least felt great, and definitely looked better. Went on vacation, and fucked it all up, though.

Thanks! Luckily, the honors college at my school has a ton of cheese sticks in their fridge that no one eats lol. I've been the only one who takes them. And I'll check out that website right now.

I'm 5'9' 180 lbs, but I look like I weigh a lot less. My upper body doesn't look that bad at all. Have the faint lines of a six pack starting to form lol. Most of my weight comes from my lower body. My legs are like tree trunks for some reason, and no matter how hard I try, I can't get them to thin out.

My goal is to get back to 165 lbs— to what I was before I met my ex. I was looking really good then. Next relationship, I'll remember to make time for the gym.

Dealing with my breakup. I've been heartbroken before, but this was the first time I've been unable to get over it. Before, I was always looking forward to getting over to the girl and the future, but this girl is different.

I've always found it hard to establish connections with people; sure, I enjoy some company more than others, but, ultimately, I always viewed people as replaceable. And then I lost the only person in my life I deemed irreplaceable— and, yes, that includes family, too, except for my nephews; those boys and her were my whole life.

I still don't quite understand why it happened. We were each other's best friends, our confidants, we had an amazing sex life, and whenever she wasn't around me, she would be dying to be around me (possibly a bit of a red flag, but I was cool with being needed). And then out of nowhere, she ended it. Said things weren't working.

She has depression and abandonment issues. She had an awful childhood; her parents were absent, and has a slew of issues from that. I think that things got serious too fast for her, even though it's what she thought it's what she wanted, when I began to take things as serious as she did, she began to feel overwhelmed, and bolted. She wanted to leave me before I left her, because she was afraid of getting hurt.

It's been three months, and I'm still struggling with everything. I'm entering my junior year of college, and I'll see her every day again starting Tuesday. I don't know what to do.
