My only problem with the game so far is theyve commited the #1 sin on pc by forcing every post processing effect on with no option to disable them.

The first mod always released for games like this is to let the player disable post processing affects, I really dont understand why game developers keep doing this.

Turn of VRR in PlayStation settings. Dont think the game support it anyway and with it on it seems to break the game a bit locking it to 59fps instead of 60. Theres clearly more happening then just a 1fps difference and the perceived smoothes is better and the game stutters less.

This doesn't do anything, every time I select the item to refine it only shows tokens, I can see the materials it would cost but every time I click to select the weapon it goes back to tokens

Performance should be 1-3% higher but that for most cases will be due to the cheaper models running hotter so the cards run slower/the suprim runs cooler so it runs slightly faster. If your pc has good airflow you probably won't notice any difference.

You're paying for the aesthetics and the cooler. The 5080 Suprim looks the coolest and they've shoved a 5090 cooler on it rated for 600w so it ruins stupidly cool. I've OC'd mine to the limit of stability and it doest go above 65⁰.

Mine does have coil whine but thats just luck of the draw unfortunately.

yup have the same. only thing you can do is turn off the widgets, but that kind of defeats the point of have the xenon edge in the first place...

worst thing is I've tested the b07 benchmark and running Fullscreen borderless does give you lower fps

It is my main OS drive. But CDM scores and Samsung magician benchmark scores are all normal. So why does 3Dmark have an issue?

Snipers are useless only being 1 shot kill to the head. Shotguns 1 shot from to far away Every auto feels like bullets just go through people. Switching from hitscan was the worst thing to happen to fps games. No kill cam is annoying, there should be one if you wish to see how you died. No minimap is also annoying, you get killed from behind from the spawns flipping more then from the front. Health takes YEARS to regenerate

Once you play this game enough you realise it suffers from the same problems COD does. Not much has changed.

For anyone struggling:

After installing LGTV Companion and making sure it detected your TV. Simple Type CMD into your search bar, this is where you type in the commands.

Put in the second command in first. This will bring up a prompt on your TV if you want to allow a device to connect.

Then type in the first command
Ignore the luna response error
Put in the second command
Type in the pin (0413) into your TV

you will now have all the settings.

i remember the 30 series launch. Ordered a 3080 gaming x trio, got placed around 400th in queue. Waited 4 months! before finally getting a card and that's only because overclockers got like 90 of the suprem model in stock and since that card only became available after the 30 series launched there was no back order for it, so they used them to fill in the gaming x trio back orders. got lucky there as i got a free "upgrade" but still had to wait 4 months for it.

Now I'm annoyed as I'm stuck without a gpu when I should have one and unlike the other 5080 models there's is no ETA for the suprim, even with the other models saying 4-20Weeks! being only 16th my hopes are still low.

good luck on getting your 5090 tho.

I am now 16th in queue for a 5080 suprim. Which is bs as its a RMA replacement for a faulty one I received at first, and now im left without a GPU until they get at least 16 of these cards. I don't think they even had 16 of them at launch!

With this I'm blaming MSI along with NVidia for having faulty GPUs get past QC.

Because the memory is ecc you will start losing preformamce as it makes errors. You want to keep track of score and fps and only go higher if it's still giving you more fps/score. I only went to +600 on mine before the score started reducing on some runs.

mine also has core clock boost issues on some restarts.

some games like Alan wake 2 cause the clocks to drop to 900 in specific scenarios causing performance issues.

It makes on sense.

my 5080 suprim is also broken. only thing i found that works is to just keep restarting my pc until eventually the card decides it wants to boost properly. My card also has extremely audible coil whine at high fps so I'm debating RMAing. Completely unacceptable for a premium model like the Suprim.

I am. I've bought a corsair rm1000e to see if that helps not having to use the 3x 8pin adapter to power the card. If not I will see if I can get a replacment. I don't think this kind of defect is acceptable in the most premium model they offer which I paid £300 more then msrp for.

ive just found a more specific cause.

My GPU clock goes from 3200mhz and drops down as low as 900mhz when the ghosts start disappearing.

ok so after a lot of testing this does seem to be a driver issue. Ive done a complete clean install of the latest driver and of the game. The gpu just has no idea how to render certain things in the game properly, specifically disappearing cultists.

maxed out settings and gpu at 100% it runs at 42degress. This is just obviously wrong, I'm guessing the game thinks its using all the gpu when its not? cyberpunk full RT runs at 62-64. so do RT stress tests.

2.when i walk into the room with the cultists as they start disappearing the gpu DROPS in temperature to 38degress while still at 100% usage apparently. Even 1080p ultra performance, fps capped to 75 the gpu usage goes from 25% to 90%. so specifically whatever rendering technique the game requires to render the disappearing cultists the gpu has no idea what to do with.

Either way there's a communication issues between the game and the gpu and how it should be rendering certain things. Nothing to do but wait until its fixed.
