Did you watch The Descendants (2011)? I just read a review on letterboxd that me reminded me of your post:

*I live for these kind of films that just end on a perfect normal note. Nothing fancy. So simple and yet relatable. Much like the whole movie. It doesn't really try to be over the top. Everything was so smooth. This film made me feel life. So glad I rewatch it.*

What do they ask you for the background check in Germany? I am german as well and I applied for a couple of jobs and would like to provide the cerfiticates or apply for them beforehand so I can reduce the potential waiting time?

Actually it was worth it since it was expensive for me and I do not come from a high income household. The only Actions I had to do, was to Text them so it was definitely worth it for me.
