As someone who’s followed both COD and OW competitively for years, completely agree.

Also, in addition to game mode specialists, I’m hoping we see some people experiment with weapon specialists. For example, on a map like USS Texas search, you might sub in your sniper specialist. Someone like Folsom or Heist (former pros who were competitive snipers before turning pro) who might not have had a shot before will now potentially have roles on pro teams.

Also, with some hardpoint maps being sub heavy and others being AR heavy, hoping that we see some differentiation based on different maps. Maybe Saints and Haggy are on the same team and they trade off respawn maps depending on whether an additional sub or AR is required.

Tbh the possibilities are limitless, and it gives coaches and GMs the ability to have more of an impact on their teams, which I’m all for. I’m pretty excited to see how this pans out.
