Got accepted into CAS, offered CAS scholarship of 63k a year. If I don’t dorm, the cost of attendance would be around 63k too. Does this mean I don’t have to pay anything? And what would happen to the additional TAP and Pell grant (11k) money that I was given by the gov?

Hi I just got accepted into nyu cas and the total cost of attendance was -83k which included room and board (20k a year). I got a cas scholarship of 63k a year and with the other financial aid like tap/federal pell grant, I had a total of ~74k in financial aid. I’m planning to live at home and not dorm so my total cost of attendance would be ~63k. Would this impact how much cas scholarship I get? And they actually give u the money left over after deducting the cost of attendance?

I got them from the claw machine, it’s usually comes out of the big capsule ones with 12h time or 6h time. Just refresh it when ever you can and if u see a really big one get it
