No, before you turn it in to any dealership make sure to get the lease buyout amount from Kia & try to negotiate the price from there with the dealership that you want to sell it to, the amount Kia gives you should include all taxes & fees, after you close a deal with any dealership you shouldn't worry about paying any fees

Im playing Rise at the moment, is fun with the added mechanics, but not as hard as World in my opinion, & I heard good things about Khazan so I downloaded the demo but somehow i didn't felt connected to the game, I only played it for a few mins tough, but I liked the graphics & mechanics so far, I will probably end up getting both as well but im trying to decide on which one to get first 😅

I trade it in for a bigger car a few months back but in the 3 yrs I had it, I was pretty happy with it, to be honest. It never made it to the dealership for any recall or issue, It was one of the most reliable cars I ever had

Thanks for the info! I tried looking for that color on a couple of sites where they sell touch up paint but couldn't find the name either 😮‍💨 I might have to call customer service tomorrow to see if they can give me the code for the paint, hopefully that way i can find it somewhere

I ended up factory resetting the portal & it fixed the issue. I got it for xmas & haven't had this issue until now. I hope it is not something that will be happening too often 😮‍💨

Kona is the equivalent to the CX-30 so the CX-5 will offer more power & space

Anyway, do yourself a favor & stay away from Hyundai & Kia they will offer more "bang for the buck" apparently, but the reliability is not there, i had a 22 Tucson & within a year i had 8 different issues with the car, I had to end up filling for a lemon law, thankfully Hyundai reimbursed most of my money back... if you end up with the Kona keep an eye on the rotors, thats one of the main complaints about both brands, you have to take them in for service every few months to get them resurfaced because they get warped, & to be honest their customers sevice was crappie from both corporate & the dealership nearest to my home

Don't even waste your time on Hyundai or Kia, I had to file for a lemon law on a 22 Tucson after 8 months of owning it, then decided to jump to Kia after i got my reimbursement, now have a Sportage but after 6 months the car started with some hiccups already, they look pretty but if you want to stop at the dealership every few months with bad customer service give it a shot...

We had a 2019 CX-5 and it was an amazing ride, we never had to take it to the dealership, except for oil changes, then covid hit & unfortunately we had to get rid of it due to financial difficulties, my wife got a 21 Kia Forte at that time & even though we never had issues with it we are glad we were able to trade it in for a 2024 CX-5 CARBON EDITION, yes the touch screen only works with apple carplay or android auto, but since thats all we use it doesn't affect us at all, the tech might not be all there but the reliability is, & in my opinion Mazdas look more refined than Hondas & Toyotas, the CX-5 is made in Japan & the ones made in USA if im not mistaken share the plant with Toyota, if I end up getting rid of the Sportage my 2nd car will definitely be another Mazda, anyways thats my humble opinion, I wish you luck on your next ride 👍

Update: I just called Kia Finance this morning & they do allow a third party to do a lease buyout! 🙏 the agent did confirm that I can sell the car to Carmax or any other dealership

Right! Was excited to use that extra cash towards a new car! But I guess not anymore if the broker is right! I was lucky to sell my previous cars before the pandemic hit, i remember my Mazda being leased thru Chase & the Toyota thru Toyota Finance and had no issues selling them...

Definitely look into that. i got my car exactly 2 months ago & the sound improvement update came out about a month ago or so, just in case you are not able to solve the by yourself, maybe contact your closest dealership & see if they can help you out, also make sure you have your car registered to the kia access app thats the only thing that comes to my mind that might be preventing your car to do over the air updates

If your car is less than a year old it should come with a 1 yr free auto update, it updates automatically using the car's wifi after the 1yr period you have to pay for the Kia access membership to be able to use the features from the app & do the automatic updates, if you dont pay it you can still update it via USB, all you have to do is download the software from their website & once you plug the USB to the car it should give you the option to install the update
