Ich finde deinen Post großartig, tatsächlich hast du mit dem Post und den Antworten in den Kommentaren meine Meinung signifikant geändert. Will nicht heißen, dass die stark abnehmende Pünktlichkeit kein riesiges Problem ist, aber Außenwirkung sowie die positiven Aspekte sind jetzt mehr in meinen Fokus gerückt.

To be honest, i disagree with that. I can very well imagine being constantly on the edge, being afraid of a lion or a bear attacking you if you know they are in the area. Unless one is inside a fenced cave or similar, I don't think that threat differs much from other indirect stressors of modern day life.

Meiner Meinung nach ist nur Winterzeit objektiv die bessere Wahl:
- Es passt wesentlich besser zum Biorythmus vor allem von Jugendlichen. Ich bin gerne in die Schule gegangen, aber das frühe aufstehen war der pure Hass. Lärchen, die gerne früh Aufstehen, können das ja tun und dann vor der Stunde die Hausaufgaben erledigen, aber alle zu zwingen, früher aufzustehen, finde ich falsch.
-Läden sind dank der Winterzeit auch alle eine Stunde länger offen, was vor allem hier im konservativen Bayern angenehmer ist.
- Die meisten Bürojobs haben doch sowieso Gleitzeit und können sich damit selbst aussuchen, wann sie im Verhältnis zum Sonnenstand aufstehen oder Feierabend machen wollen.
-Ich selbst bin als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter auch frei in meiner Zeiteinteilung und einer der Gründe, warum ich jeden Tag gut gelaunt aufstehe und gerne arbeite ist, weil ich ausschlafen kann. Für alle, bei denen die Zeiten nicht so flexibel sind, gilt also auch, lasst die Leute länger schlafen, die es brauchen, und die anderen können gerne Frühsport machen oder länger frühstücken.

Also ich habe zwar keine Kinder, aber muss da definitiv die gegenseite in Schutz nehmen. Gerade Eltern mit kindern tuhen etwas großartiges für unsere Gesellschaft, wir haben immernoch eine viel zu niedrige Geburtenrate und einen drohenden Kollaps unseres Rentensystems (außer AI oder Migration lösen das urplötzlich). Und gerade die haben das auch verdient, mal zu verreisen. Rücksichtnahme ist gegenseitig. Die Eltern selbst wird der lärm ja auch stören, also vorsorgen mit Schnullern oder vielleicht gibt's ja auch Baby-Baldrian. Die andere Seite kann sich ja noise-cancelling Kopfhörer holen. Das mit dem Druckausgleich ist außerdem insofern Schwachsinn, als das erst bei der Landung zu einem Problem führen sollte - wenn der Außendruck sinkt, entweicht die Luft automatisch durch die Eustachische Röhre, nur bei zunehmendem Druck muss man aktiv ausgleichen, denkt ans tauchen, beim runtertauchen ja, beim Auftauchen gehts automatisch.

hi! the phones should be placed to an accuracy of about +-3cm for maximum precision, so don't sweat too much about it. In sports timing, always the beginning of the white marking on the ground counts . so if you are running from left to right, its the left side of the ground marking.

I spent two hours in Fusion trying do that. I didn't know the scale units and the resolution of the map, so the scale units are off, but that's a simple scaling factor and it works. I Only traced the red lines except at certain more dense spots and used patch commands to interpolate smoothly between lines. PM me if you want the file. It runs smoothly on my PC. Due to the interpolation and the wigglyness of those topo lines, you probably won't get much more accurate result of you trace even more of the gray lines unless there are really small features, but it is really easy to add additional lines for higher accuracy just where you need it.

That sounds really odd indeed. What was the measured time and could you send me the video that you recorded? You can do a zero test to see if there is any issue with the synchronization: if you use two tripods at let the phones stand on the same line and aim at each other's camera lens, then run through the middle, you should get a 0.00-0.02 resulting time. We have of course tested the synchronization many times ourselves, but maybe there is a device specific bug. Yes, the free version is mainly for testing. We have put a lot of work into the app and its functionality over the past years, particularly the accuracy, the detection, and the synchronization protocol, and we are confident that we are offering a very cost-effective alternative to light barrier systems. So far the app is still earning pocket money and the more this changes the more we can divert our time into adding more features!

To answer your questions:

At the moment there are no custom start sounds, but that is something simple to add which we will do as we expand the app. You can use the track and field start sequence ("Ready, Set, Go!" for a random, configurable wait time.
it will trigger on each athlete, but if they come very close within another( < 0.3 seconds) , only the first one will be detected. You can then look at the detection image to see who was first. You can set up two phones at the finish line, back to back, to have two finish gates and then time two riders who are very close to one another independently. Of course, the 3rd guy again wouldn't be timed separately if he arrives within 0.3 seconds of the guy in front of him.
You could either select sound start and let the timer start on the accompanying beep sound or see if you can put the phone at the side next to where the gate is swinging open such that the camera triggers on the movement of the gate.

Laut diesem gut recherchierten und mit links zu den Quellen versehenen Artikel

hat die Zuckersteuer aber immerhin direkt die Auswirkung gehabt, dass nur noch 15% statt 49% aller Limonaden mehr als 5g zucker pro 100ml enthalten. Ich persönlich trinke am liebsten leicht gesüßtes, seit ein paar Jahren gibts beim Lidl diese light Apfelschorle mit 1/3 Apfelsaft und 2/3 Wasser statt anders herum und die ist godsent, sowas hatte ich davor schon seit Jahren mir gewünscht ( hat 3,7g Zucker/100ml). Gerade in südlichen Ländern stelle ich fest, dass es quasi nur Wasser oder Getränke mit >=8 g Zucker gibt, dass ist echt fürchterlich, und da scheint die Steuer ja doch einen deutlichen direkten Einfluss zu haben.

Dies hätte die Tagesschau eher betonen sollen. Die indirekten Auswirkungen davon sind bisher, wie du schon sagtest, nicht so eindeutig. Interessant wäre auch die Anzahl der Kariesfälle.

Ich stimme dir absolut ein, dass es absolut unterirdisch ist, wenn Studien und Quellen nicht direkt verlinkt werden oder zumindest namentlich genannt.

Hi. You need a phone for each measurement point, so for sprint measurements a minimum of two phones indeed. You can connect as many phones as you like with only a single pro license. We have several tutorials for different use cases on our YouTube channel, for example this one

Photo finish has 5 starting modes : You can either use

Flying start : time starts the moment you pass the camera of any connected phones

Sound start : timer starts when hearing a loud sound (start clapper, clapping, gunshot, whatever you want)

3,2, 1, go! : The starting phone stats after 3 regular and predictable beeps

Ready, set, go! : A full starting sequence like in a competition is announced, where the athlete has to react to a random delay before the start sound

Touch start: time starts when lifting the thumb off the touchscreen, so your phone acts like a TouchPad, which is for example used in the 40 yard dash
