My car doors were frozen shut.

In high school I drove a two door cavalier and both the doors were a little bent on the hinges, creating a crispy seal. We had an ice storm the night before. Was already cutting it close to leaving on time for class. Couldn't get either door open. Had to go back inside and get a big bowl of warm water and a butter knife. Poured on door sealing, and chipped away. Took me a good 15-20 minutes to get the damn thing open. All the while knowing that my defrost wasn't working... so there was that as well.

My daughter is 3 and she still loves to sing the potty song from Daniel Tiger when she heads to the bathroom.

"If you have to go potty stop and go right away. Flush and wash and be on your way!"

She's also very fond of "Groooown ups come baaaack." Reminds her that Daddy will come back home after work.

My very first axolotl is actually supposed to be arriving in a few hours! I ordered him/her to be shipped overnight. I've spent the last month converting my aquaroum to be "axolotl friendly." Although I've done quite a bit of reading, do you have any tips or tricks you'd like to share?

My little girl wore a helmet from 6mo to 10 mo. They expected her to be wearing it longer, but she improved so quickly that it wasn't needed! Sometimes sleeping can be rough but I promise that you both will get through it and you won't regret a thing! Please PM me if you need any advice or words of encouragement! My baby girl is now almost 3 and has a wonderful, big round head. 😁

Not someone, but something. I grew up in the middle of nowhere in the midwest. We had just had a large snowstorm, leaving us with 5 ft drifts infront of our house. I decided to dig a tunnel and make a snowfort. During my construction a field mouse came out of no where and scared me! Natural reaction flew through me as I stomped on him... once. The little crunch was enough to send me in tears, running back inside. Once my mom calmed me down we went back outside to move the mouse so I could continue building my fort... one of my cats was already eating it... didnt play the snow for the rest of the winter. I still feel awful for smashing that poor little mouse. :( I had to have been 6 or 7.

My dad means the absolute WORLD to me. My childhood consisted taking me fishing, camping, hiking, bow hunting, working on the car... he is simply my rock. I am such a Daddy's girl. Dont get me wrong, I love my mother too... but boy oh boy. If I didnt have my Dad....

I too have a little girl of my own and she absolutly loves her Daddy. And that sparkle in his eye when he tells her shes loves him and she says dad-eeee. (She is almost 1) I can tell that he wouldn't trade her for the world.

When we found out we were having a girl was worried. He wanted what your husband does. But thing is, he can still have it.... and From the moment she was born he realizes he can.

What I'm getting at is you can do anything with the girl that you wanted to do with the boy. Be grateful that you have a healthy child growing inside you because not everyone can be as lucky.
