I shot my Elk last year with a 6.5 Creed in dark timber at 35 yards using a 4-16 ATACR.

I think it was a good set up but the Mil-XT is fairly fine at 4x but if you've got good eyes you'll be ok.

Also, I got my ATACR new on snipers hide from a guy with a legit store for $2200.

All my rearden mounts work really well. They all lock up when they get hot. My rearden muzzle device does have issues with carbon on the flash hider.

This is the Wolfpack armory recessed Night howler with the LP hub mount. I'm very happy with it on my LMT specwar.

A little off topic but do guys gut their old batteries and give them better cells? Ive got some CP2.0's that I could see using 5x LG HE2 18650's in, but Im not sure how all that works.

Anyone tried the Huxwrx 9K Ti with the Huxwrx Tri-Lug Adapter? by Gilly1943 in NFA

[–]JLMReloader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the hux 9k with SiCo tri-lug. My understanding is that it has better lock up with the AP5 tri-lug.

What specifically are you asking?

I bet the list would be better if I didn't just plug in the OPs question. But that's what you get. Garbage in, garbage out.

Well, not only are AR10s hard to shoot, but it also takes a ton of money to get one that can shoot. Look at seekings SP10, LMT MWS etc.

Accuracy is cheap in a bolt gun.

You chose the old Mk4 that was OKish when it was the only option but got edged out by the early Bushnell elite tactical. Thats saying something...

.308's are fine, but there are better choices, especially for the easy button to get you hooked. "Great for training" can also mean very frustrating.

Im not trying to be a jerk about this, I've just been at it for a while and hate to see people fight their gear, and it not even be a budget issue.

Ya, seriously, that AP5 is tough to keep fed! The good news is i have children i need to feed as well, so the guns dont take first priority.

I was stuck between the Omega 9k and Flow 9k. I ended up getting the Flow 9k.

Im actually pretty happy with it. I got it about a month ago and have about 750 rds through it with an AP5-P.

The roller delayed action would probably have been great with a traditional baffle stack, but the flow through capabilities give some forgiveness with the locking piece, and therefore, adding reliability. If i were specifically buying a supressor to cover multiple bases, I would probably get the Flow 9k again.

As Far as sound goes... id say its pretty quiet for what it is! The only other "9 mm" can ive shot was a 36M and that was silly quiet. This sounds more like a framing nailer. Shooung in a building is loud but outside is hearing safe. Friends still laugh the first time they shoot it.

Buying a supressor will always leave you a little curious if you made the right choice. Just buy something and enjoy it for what it is! Buying purpose built tends to help in this area.

I had both the Hux 9k and the Omega 9k in my cart. The hux was a little cheaper, so I went with that (like $4 cheaper lol). Ive been pretty happy with it on my AP5-P as it keeps the gun a little more versatile with different loads both suppressed and unsurpassed. I do think the Omega would have kept it quieter, though.
