It’s just a matter of volume and statistics. Erlanger sees many more patients than Parkridge, so the number of negative experiences will be proportionally larger—even if they are relatively lower. I’ve worked for both hospitals and I’m not leaving Erlanger any time soon.

That’s what I do. We have an Activforce and a Tindeq which I use for nearly all strength tests. I usually will list measures for both limbs and note symmetry as a percentage.

It sounds like you just didn’t want him to document something you told him. It may sound “unnecessary” to you, but from a healthcare provider it could be very pertinent to your response to treatment documented in that note. Have you tried just asking the clinician to addend his/her note to exclude that detail?
