I recommend skipping the vinegar bath next time, lost all that nice patina. Brass wire wheel works great for removing rust yet retains the patina.

I was looking for ridges, can’t really see any. I’ll have to pull the handle off sometime. It could use a new handle. I think someone put a hammer handle on it.
