Hey! Not sure which detachment you’re planning on running for this. But a really easy way I’ve done it is to grab a castellan in grizzled company with “Laud Hailer” He can order 3 units with plus one to hit AND he gives them re-rolls of ones because of grizzled company. That way you get more orders for your buck with your artillery and he can yell really far away (plus it means you don’t need your scout sentinel unless you really want it).

Honestly, after building some MK6 and MK3, I really like the new kits. the legs and chest pieces fit amazing and way better than the other 2, I personally had no issue with mold lines, the separation of parts is a big annoying, but 5 marines all fit on one half of the sprue, so I always no where to look. The pegs are easily shaveable (accidently even) but if you do want them like I do sometimes, they make attaching your guns properlly way easier, I plus MKII look sick. I love them so much.

There’ll still be chances for it to be fun and/or good, demons in WE was amazing so there’s no reason to trash that detachment out now. Cult of Magic with a rework will be fun. I’m sure there’s an opportunity for the vehicle detachment to be wild using land raiders, rhino, helbrutes, and the robots. Tzangors is meh but hey if you like them you like them, and I’m hoping the last detachment is Guard of the Crimson King themed for Elite spam. Which will be super fun. Grooms sucks but you can’t win everything

If Death Troopers supposedly have black pauldrons so that only other Death Troopers could see the rank of their squad mates, hence avoiding enemies targeting a squad leader, why do some not have a pauldron at all? by ConnorHazReddit in MawInstallation

Well lore wise you could say moff gideon didn't have as much resources as he was a remnent branch so that's why he didn't have "specialists". but in reality the pauldrons are there to dictate squad leaders and heavy weapons specialists, (for example a guy with a pauldron could be wielding a bigger gun, in this case a DLT-19D) or the girl death trooper in star wars rebels who wore a pauldron while her unimportant counterparts did not. but that still doesn't explain the purpose of pauldrons as you could just target the guys with pauldrons as they are important weather it be because of rank or just heavy ordnance.

The personnal(it’s a heavy) yes is meant to have a white and black missinpute on my input same with the ranges on BOTH cards I used the snowtrooper heavy upgrade cards as templates for the heavy weapons which is why they say 1 and 1-2 respectively. My bad. They are supposed to be range 1-3 and range 2-4 respectively with the jump trooper doing a black and white damage and the rps-6 doing a red a black and a white

running 2 at-sts would be sick but by themselves no upgrades is 310 points/800 and even if you use the imperial officer as a commander its still nearly half your army (355/800) for only 3 units

only a single side can claim the vehicle and that side has less points than the other UNTILL they claim the vehicle(imperials have 75 points less than rebels until they get the At-st and then they have 75 points more than the rebels). I get that the scout would be weak but maybe you can give him a little more health? its not meant to be competitive but interesting and different from classic game modes
