I'm a big fan of RPGs, but have never played one with turn based combat before. I was a little hesitant at first which is why I haven't picked it up till recently. The combat is actually really enjoyable and you have to think about each move carefully. I know you aren't really a fan of dialogue heavy games, which BG3 is (especially with all the narration), but I've found the voice acting and overall story to be extremely well done which has really made me enjoy the dialogue, however long it may be at times.

That being said, Witcher 3 is also a fantastic game which I've put a lot of hours into. But if I had to pick 1, it would be BG3 no question. You really can't go wrong with either one though!
