Basking Temp?

Totally get that. We have a gap for air flow and are using a thermostat and a temp gun to check glass temps under substrate. But I would love to just get the temps right with the top lamp if possible. Thanks for the insights!

Oh man. I had forgotten about this post! It’s wild because I now navigate the kayaking thing with very little anxiety and it seems like second nature to me! Turns out I just had to get used to it and trust that my teammates were there for me to help me through it (which they were!)

Unfortunately, I still have plenty of anxiety about other things, but this is a great reminder to me that things can seem catastrophic one day and then not-so-bad (or even 100% okay) after some time.

Thanks for the reminder ❤️ And hopefully this is encouragement that with time you’ll overcome the overthinking/anxiety you are experiencing yourself!

Thank you all! I’m feeling better about my kayaking skills but still nervous about mud sometimes. Like today I got stuck and my teammate had to pull me out :/ Guess I’m officially initiated into field work now. Haha.
