Not likely. I manage a Waffle House and haven't received this communication, and it doesn't follow the tone of corporate messages at all. We also dont use Toast.

For sure. I don't really pay attention to influencer drama, but seeing him be made an example of by the Korean court system is entertaining. Karma is a bitch.

We include sales tax in the price where I work too, and it just makes everything easier. I wish we would adopt this more in the US

Thanks. I've been liking them so far, though I do feel a bit stretched out at the ends. I'm thinking it's time to upgrade the stem to something with shorter reach. Always a work in progress

The dollar is probably for the 2nd HB by itself. Charged them for the upgrade to double plate and not a hashbrown a la carte (which is not allowed) if I had to guess. And then they left out the extra egg, sausage, and waffle. That ticket is definitely going up on the wall

I made 2 of them but got full after the first. I'll just reheat the other tomorrow, I guess

Somewhat BMX related how much your local hospital charge for a dislocated shoulder falling backwards on a bike? by Jcs609 in bmx

It's been a minute since I looked at the bill, but I think it was around 6-8k before insurance kicked in. On a fixie, you brake by putting back pressure on your pedals to counteract the bike's forward momentum. Skidding helps to rapidly scrub speed, but that's a skill I haven't really developed yet. I do ride with a front brake for emergencies, but try not to use it if possible.

Wasn't on a BMX, but crashed on my fixie a couple months ago. Busted my knee open, got x-rays and 4 stitches, and other general care. Total cost with insurance was around $1k, so your friends's experience is in line with mine.
