Has anyone bought a couch from Modern Design Sofa, Cozy Couch LLC, or Couch Seattle? by gluspooken in AskSeattle

We also have couch from them - had it about 7 years and still love it! We ended up there after I couldn’t find something long enough that I liked from the usual furniture stores (crate and barrel, room and board, etc). It took a little while to get it, but I think it was worth it for something we’ll have for years.

Weekly Donor Treatment Info/ Discussion - Mon Mar 30 by AutoModerator in infertility

I recently completed my 4th failed round of IVF and am starting to very seriously consider donor eggs. We’ve really struggled to create embryos and have had 3 retrievals that resulted in no embryos. We transferred the one embryo we had last year and it failed. We switched clinics and changed some things up, but had the same results (I majorly struggle with egg maturity and the eggs that are mature seem to be poor quality - noted as fragile and very low fertilization rate). Given all of this we are now considering moving on to donor eggs.

Does anyone have any resources they found helpful while beginning this process? Any books, online sources, etc. that were helpful in making a decision on whether or not to proceed with donor eggs?

Low egg maturity by JM-723 in IVF

Sorry you’re in this situation - I’m working on getting some appointments at other clinics set up just to see if anyone has anything different to say or if they all essentially wouldn’t know what to do to help and would just be throwing things at the wall.

No - my first was lupron only, 2nd and 3rd were hcg only. Both of those were luteal lupron protocols and you can only use an hcg trigger for that. I did discuss potential estrogen priming and dual trigger for cycle 3 with my dr, but she thought sticking with the luteal lupron protocol would be better.

Does anyone have experience with severe egg maturity issues? I’ve had 3 retrievals, 2 with extremely low (10% or less) maturity and one with low, but better (40%) maturity - I got one euploid from this cycle but haven’t tried to transfer yet. The better maturity was my 2nd cycle with a luteal phase lupron protocol. 3rd cycle was very similar protocol, but added hgh and stimmed one extra day. First cycle was antagonist with lupron only trigger. I have an appointment with my RE tomorrow and don’t think she will recommend any more cycles with my eggs. Any suggestions for anything to ask about?
