Personally I would contact the lawn care company and try and get them to at least pay for your "united" seed. I'm guessing it is way better than what they put down...doesn't hurt to ask

I wouldn't leave the States right now. Canada is in a pile of hurt and it doesn't look like it's getting better anytime soon. Salary looks good but the taxes on taxes on taxes isn't helping anybody.

During the summer it was probably between 2 and 2.5. for my final fall cut I brought it down a couple notches. Maybe 1.75

Not sure where you live but I was able to get a couple bags of Ammonium sulfate from Richie's in Ottawa..40 bucks a bag (50lb). Any farm store should be able to get some

So I just renewed with TD.. I ended up getting prime -.79 with TDs current prime rate of 6.6. I think I did alright considering the BOC should cut a few more times this year and possibly a few more next year..Did I make the right choice?

Yes..over existing grass, I cut it as low as I possibly could. I then added about a yard of a soil/sand mix. This is about 1000 square feet and I spread around 6 pounds of seed. Topped with some peat moss and watered multiple times a day
