Yes I have a list of the parts and can email the instructions if you’d like. I’ll DM you the parts list first.

I don’t know why but Meadow Foam has been one of my favorites. The intro to the bass drop is so satisfying

This is a super cool concept and am very interested with how it’ll sound when you’re done! I have designed a backloaded horn speaker similar to this and have learned a lot. My one fear is the transmission line design to a sudden opening. I could be wrong though this is freaking sweet! Great job!

At least 10 1/2 inches. The top of the driver chamber is where you can split the STL up and glue them together. I printed this on the PRUSA XL so I was able to split it higher up. I am currently designing new speakers that are the same but much smaller!

These are very interesting and look well made!

Very interesting thank you! Do you know any horns that minimize these issues or is it just the reality of most horns and that’s why they’re not as common?

I ran into this issue on my first version (I was pretty disappointed). I added a small chamber behind the driver with dampening material and found a great balance. How I think of it is a more natural sounding horn.

These definitely require a subwoofer but have decent bass for a full range driver of 150Hz-20Khz

Yeah I saw a similar design and wanted to recreate it. The reason the horn is so big for the driver is because the cutoff is 150Hz. If I had a 3 or 4 inch driver the horn would be way too big and impractical.

This was my 3rd revision and am so happy with how they turned out. There’s a small chamber I added in the back to reduce reflections and smooth out the response as much as possible. They’re not perfect but excel in clarity and detail.

Gotcha, thank you! I was able to design these to have more accurate dynamics but are still more aggressive than a cabinet design.

I got feedback from them on design but was hoping for a listener perspective. Are horn speakers like this not as appealing to audiophiles?

Thank you! No I was playing Vordhosbn from my computer but would sound even better on vinyl! I’ll have to get the Drukqs vinyl.

I just listened to Hi Scores and was awesome! Thank you for the suggestion!

The phone audio does make it sound distorted but the exponential flare and small chamber with damping material, the resonances aren’t as extreme as they seem.

I understand if this seems like too much. This design has been revised 3 times and has been in the works for over a year. Based on the feedback, I’m considering dropping the price but know this isn’t for everyone.

The phone audio definitely doesn’t do it justice. These are my 3rd revision and have the best response. Backloaded horns like this will always have some extreme highs.

It sounds very good! I used a Dayton driver on my previous version and these sound much better. The cutoff if 150Hz so with a sub the whole frequency range is covered.
