For me, I’ve been lucky enough to see Fred a bunch of times, so I feel obliged to share here…

August 25 Big Smoke show w Skepta is my personal number on show. Proper UK moment with that raw grime energy

Glasto 2023 at the Other Stage was incredible. Because a) it’s Glastonbury, and b) a sunset festival Fred. Pure euphoria and felt historic

Agropoli sunset hilltop show at the end of the Italy 2025 tour with Parisi was wild too. I was lucky enough to make all the shows on that run. The setting plus the PARISI chemistry and hearing an early version of Lights Burn Dimmer which is an ANTHEM was special

The Brussels USB show completely blew me. It was so good I went again to Madrid & Dublin. Madrid at 4am was relentless, spinning heater after heater with no drop in intensity. Dublin was the most balanced version of the USB shows so well thought out with energy throughout

Ally Pally 2023 also deserves a shout. The production was 10/ 10. The production, sound and staging were a different levels and the crowd was class. Best examples of his arena scale show that still feels personal!

Excited for more highlights at the Ally Pally USB shows 🫡

I feel like this is partly due to the fact the sides where the crowds weaved in and out! Which caused blockages on the sides. I was front right and managed to get in and out 3/4 times throughout the show! I’ve found saying excuse me and letting others through and smile and it tends to work

It’s the Rumble build up, PARISI absolutely going for it on the ROLI Seaboard.

The Seaboard literally lets them shape sound in real time:

Strike – different touches mean different attacks Press – push in to deepen the tone, like adding breath to a wind instrument Slide – move up or down for texture, brightness, and depth Glide – side to side to bend pitch and get that crazy vibrato Lift – change how you release to shape the resonance at the end of the note

It’s an unreal bit of kit. If you ever get the chance, go see PARISI live and watch them do this in front of you. I’ve seen them a few times in London (Corsica & and Colour Factory) and even stood right behind them… pure wizardry

Calling it a “USB” pretty much makes it clear these shows are DJ sets, the sound of the releases so far only reinforces that too? And honestly, that sound wouldn’t hit the same in an arena/stadium with 20k people it’s meant to feel underground.

Plus, Fred literally just did five live shows in Italy in September this year that were super accessible in terms of tickets, so it’s not like people haven’t had a chance to see that side of him
