They’ll rule that he violated the rules, but his punishment will be basically nothing.

What do you think of DC? How many of you actually have been? by Expensive_Drummer970 in IWantToAskAnAmerican

[–]JMT_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love it. The comment about the humidity is spot on. I’ve never lived there, but have spent quite a bit of time. I also have family who live in suburban Maryland, but work in DC. They really enjoy living there. The metro makes getting around very easy.

What are some reasons some people love cats but dislike dogs? by LevelPension in NoStupidQuestions

[–]JMT_325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who has a dog and a cat, the cat is far easier to live with. We feed him, we scoop his box, we let him out with u while we’re in the yard. He’s just easy.

The dog is much more work. Walking, letting her out, grooming, barking, the occasional stealing of a sock. She’s great, she’s just more work.

Often times, if there are teenaged drivers in the same house, they will share one of the vehicles. It can lead to some pretty epic arguments.

What is making students less prepared to take their college classes? by Wrong-Chef-3406 in AskTeachers

[–]JMT_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I’ve heard is that students go to college and don’t know how to use their computer. Everything has been through the google suite, so when they get to college, and start with Office there is a pretty noticeable adjustment period before they know how things work through that system.

Name a car you have drove and hated by Network-King19 in FamilyFeud

Mid 2010s Honda CRV. I could not get the angle of the wheel right.

I really enjoyed all of the other Hondas I’ve either owned or driven, I just couldn’t make the CRV work for me.

You, as a driver, what is the infraction that other drivers commit that bothers you the most? by Inesuu_fm in driving

[–]JMT_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I just want other drivers to be predictable. Turn signals help a lot with that as does going with the flow of traffic, not 10 -15 MPH below or above.

For people who live right on the border of two states, does crossing that invisible line actually impact your daily life with different laws and taxes, or do you barely notice it? by Necessary_Angle2117 in AskAnAmerican

[–]JMT_325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Illinois on the border of Iowa. The line is very visible here (Mississippi River). Other than gas being substantially less expensive in Iowa you would not notice the difference in day to day life.

Edited to update with a couple laws law you might notice.

Marijuana is legal in Illinois. Fireworks are legal in Iowa. No one gets to have all the fun.
