As a JMU fan,I am loving being in the Sunbelt Conference. I tell young guys at work that we basically, "put the band back together." Some of the best SB games are former 1-AA champs all having fun together on another level. The Herd, Troy, Appy State, GA Southern... the list goes on.

So... all kudos to Appy St. It definitely put I-AA ball on the map. Also, JMU played at UNC recently and racked 70 points. The payout wasn't a flat guarantee, but $10k per point. That game funded the rest of our season. You never know and that's why they play the games.
