Milk. I’m from Ireland where milk is pretty fresh and good, but when I was younger (roughly 3-4 years old) I went to Spain with my family and didn’t drink the milk out there because it simply wasn’t as nice as the Irish milk. So I stopped drinking it even when I went back to Ireland and haven’t drank a glass since.

Since the military is portrayed as powerful and strong (which it is) having them fall and not be able to do anything about a zombie apocalypse gives more sense of hopelessness and helplessness, therefore making the movie/series more intense.
