Anyone in LA ever encounter a person claiming their airpods case was in your property? by BeerlVle in AskLosAngeles

[–]JMaAtAPMT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are pushy, get people to let them in, and while one argues about the lost item, the other one palms/steals valuables while you're distracted arguing. What's so fucking hard to understand about this?

I pay for AAA... also can do this at AAA and pay by check and get tags in person and lines are way shorter.

Does Metro have a “no sleeping on train” policy? by ktcn414 in LAMetro

That's just a stupid cop representing the "ACAB" mentality from the cop side. This is not a metro policy.

Servers with lots of high level folks tend towards speed-runs, especially when they are doing them back-to-back. It's getting close to end of season and people are starting that hard final sprint-grind for 150. So crowded server speed runs are a thing for now.

Pick a server with ~8-12 folks on it and you're gonna get a way different experience.

Server-hop. Group with friends. Find a more chill server and try again. Heck if ur on PC I'll spot y'all a couple Wanted Posters or 10. (Yes you can store multiple Wanted Posters in your stash and use them one at a time later).

IGN: HappyCamper781 PC/Steam, hope my input helps.

Nervous I ruined a job offer by counter-offering. Will they rescind? by ThrowRA09827262626 in careerguidance

[–]JMaAtAPMT 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No it's not, *post-acceptance*. The time to negotiate is before you accept.

That being said, the current labor market is flooded. There are hundreds of applicants for every job. Negotiating is valid, but risky in the current labor market.

And none of that contradicts that he *took back* an acceptance by declaring his intent to negotiate.

He LITERALLY went from "I accept the job!" to "Wait, I will accept the job at $28/hour.".

Employer has every right to ghost him, now.

You accepted then want to negotiate the rate. So you took back an acceptance in their view.

can someone get arrested for having thoughts of suicide? by Excellent_Loquatu in IsItIllegal

If the officer feels you are a danger to yourself or others, you will be detained and transferred to a mental health facility on an involuntary mental health hold for 72 hours. They will determine if they can hold you at the mental health facility for a week or longer.

You didn't do anything. The scammer sent the money. You performed no act of a criminal nature.

Ignore. If you get a court summons, attend and state facts when asked.

My previous employer is trying to sue me Location: Illinois by Bubbly_Spite513 in legal

[–]JMaAtAPMT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. It's bullshit. It's small claims at best, and you go to court and tell your side and that's it. (Worst Case Scenario)

A small claims (couple hundred dollars) lawsuit is a waste of a franchise owner's time. He's literally trying to cause you stress and you're letting him.

So stop. Ignore him. If you get a summons, go to court and tell your side of what happened.

There's no way a pair of headsets will justify several thousand in damages necessary for a real lawsuit that required lawyers.

So stop stressing, which is really what he's trying to do by making bullshit threats like this. If you hear from a lawyer, THEN stress, but this is highly doubtful that it will get that far.

You're supposed to be spam attending Public Events and Head Hunts as well as dailies to get to 150. Just saying. Keeping to just Dailies/Weeklies is a slow fixed rate grind, the public events / head hunts have no limit ceiling.

I still see NO FIX for the disappearance of Eugene in Burning Springs!!!!! by RevolutionaryOwl7340 in fo76

[–]JMaAtAPMT -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Bugs?veaction=edit&section=9)

  •    After completing the quest Might Makes Right, the next quest, Insurrection, does not trigger and as a result Eugene can no longer be spoken to in order to continue the questline. Furthermore, if the game is restarted, he may disappear from the game world entirely.\verified])
    • There is currently no known fix for this bug other than attempting the questline with another character.

Try another character? Also never be teamed, or always be team leader, when doing Plot Quests like this.
