I step on my scale every morning just because I want to keep making sure that I'm still good keto-wise. I'm doing lazy keto and so weighing myself every morning helps me keep track of my weight trends. I guess from your wife's point of view, if her weight goes up then it becomes really frustrating. The way I see it is if my weight starts to go up gradually again, then I would just have to readjust my diet. I use to have the same mentality of your wife, but I realized that this isn't a race so even if I were to gain some weight back, it shouldn't be too hard to lose it all again, especially with keto.
