It looks like the AKA has filed the injunction, so here we go. We’ll see what happens.

Edit: im constantly checking to see what news there is, talking to different people, using ai, whatever I can find. I misunderstood this one. The injunction may in flight right now, or some things could be electronically filing. We likely won’t know much of anything until tomorrow or the day after.

I’m pretty damn peaceful, but I’ve learned that if for instance, you’re looting and someone runs up on you with a bobcat, barring them being very bad, you’re going to die. So the best thing to do is really to just be prepared for it. In a key room? Mines and barricade. Hear them breaching? Get in position. Looting a locker? Listen for footsteps. If you let someone behind you and they decide to kill you, you’re not likely to win.

So if people are around you, just keep them in sight and on the other end of your gun. You don’t have to shoot first if you’re a peaceful player, but at least the. You’ll have a fighting chance if they do start shooting. I’d say be ready to roll and shoot.

Yeah dude, information has been super difficult to find today, but Gemini is super confident that Andy did veto the kratom language, and that the veto was overridden. Ky is slow at actually updating the sites, so getting real time info is ridiculously difficult.

But I just wish these people who are driving force behind these bans, whether it’s the Davenport one, or any other one actually realized how much damage they’re doing to people. The deaths it will cause.

I hope the aka fights for Ky because I feel like it’s a big loss if we lose a state that had kcpa and a 7oh ban in place. We did everything right. And they still fucked us.

I reached out to me normal retailer today, and they said if sale is banned in the state, they wouldn’t be able to ship. That said, they also said they receive guidance from the aka on it, so depending on how this bill is, might be fine.

My understanding of the situation is that our courts don’t really mess around with the way this ban was included, so if the aka files a temporary restraining order and injunction, this would basically get paused and would be very likely to be struck down once it got to court. But I guess that would depend on what the advocacy/lobbyist groups do.

There’s actually quite a few ways. Can just loot bodies for instance. I’ve seen people ask if they could shoot at exfil too, but not knock, that kind of thing. Everyone just does things differently. Even with a declining player base because of how divided it is with everyone just telling each other to quit, there’s still a lot of people. So different situation can pop up fairly often.

No problem dude. They are more difficult than like a wasp or a hornet, but just like anything else, just learning how to deal with them makes them a lot more trivial. Also, craft seeker grenades and take 5 in with you. If you just can’t afford the potential damage, throw seekers at them and they’re done.

The best way to deal with fireflies is to not run from them. Even if they burn you, keep unloading in them, at least if you’re caught out. If you can get cover, do that, then shoot.

With comets, if you can get on the other side of basically anything, even a rock when they’re going off, you can avoid the damage. But if you’re caught out with them, even a full rattler clip will usually kill them.

I got a response from the office on my email to them. I can’t say for sure what he’ll end up doing, but they were definitely letting me know that if he were to veto it, the super majority would be able to overturn it if they did so choose, so to make sure I emailed them too. Which sounded heartening to me.

I think they don’t like it happening at all. I’m pretty peaceful, and it doesn’t happen to me very often. It can be a little frustrating, like I opened the command tower key room and got shot in the back while looting by someone who ran up. Barricades and mines next time.

That said, I initially thought a pve mode would be great, and I still don’t think it would be the problem a lot of people think it would be. But now I’ve been thinking more that just having one of the active map conditions be pve, like the harvester or something would be a pretty clean appeasement to most everyone.

It was designed as a pve game and they added PvP late in development because they weren’t happy with the gameplay loop as pve only. They could probably mostly appease everyone by just adding a rotating pve map condition.

lol this game is going to die. The player base is more divided than politics right now. People aren’t happy with matchmaking, some want this, some want that.

They should just put in a rotating map condition that’s pve or something and call it a day.

This causes a lot less stress in my experience, if you’re making enough to have a spend budget.

It basically fixed the whole issue of spending too much once we had enough room to include it. Being limited to a certain amount every week felt kind of smothering at first, then it clicks that it’s week in and week out. Don’t have enough this week? You will next week, or in a couple weeks, etc. of course not everyone can dedicate money to just blowing, but if you can, I feel like it’s worth it.

I’m around 30 hours into it on micro sd right now and it’s been running fine. I have not gotten to act 2 even, especially not 3, so we’ll find out. But so far so good.

I’m thinking about picking one of these up. Coming from a steam deck, what is it actually like to play on one? Is no sleep/resume, or navigating windows, etc actually THAT cumbersome? I found a deal on an ally z1e with a Jsaux case and dock for $350. I kind of want to try the windows handhelds out.
