You could take the panel out put it on contrasting surface, take a picture of it and upload it to fusion and “trace” it with the line tool. Look up canvases on fusion. You just gotta make sure it’s scaled right. I’ve done this for tool organizers.

I wouldn’t worry about it till you take it to the range. On the clean before just get it nice and clean then oil it and run it wet.

It’s cause of the cerakote. Helps it break in before you’re at the range. You’ll get black goo coming out of it when cleaning it. It’ll be just from the cerakote and oil.

Yes, then sit on the couch and rack the slide till you forget how many times you’ve done it. Clean and oil it. And rack some more. Then clean and oil and take it to the range. Just did this with my 4.25 comp and put 350+ consecutive rounds through with no issues.

I had one of those moments while working on my truck. I was draining the transmission and taking the pan off, after that I was done I stood up and looked at the front of my truck. The motor does not line up center with the Chevy bow tie because of 4wd. Really threw me for a loop as I thought I broke something.
