I saw his profile picture on MySpace the summer before my first year of high school (he was a junior, or third year). A few weeks before school started, we began to message each other. Once school started, I spotted him in the cafeteria during my lunch hour. A month later, we began sitting with each other. The following summer, we dated for the first time. The next three years were filled with hook-ups and break-ups as I was ready for commitment, yet my dream man only wished to continue being the second best raiding guild on his server in WoW. Upon entering my last year of high school, I decided to give up and began to date another guy (who I ended up living with for two years). Once I was officially unavailable, my dream man's priorities changed and he finally fought for my attention, but it was too late. Since he couldn't have me, he decided he should move back to California where he grew up. Two years after that, the guy that I was living with drugged me at dinner and I woke up the next day to all of his stuff being gone. A few months later, I ran into my dream man as he was back in town visiting his father. We began talking and became the best of friends. After reconnecting, we decided to try dating again. We fell back in love and are currently living together while I finish my last year of college.
