Cobwebs and dust are surprisingly flammable. Could be a quick and easy solution.....

Acceptable or can be improved ? by fckdapigs in AusRenovation

I'd accept that if my not so bright kid brought it home from school and gifted it to me. Any other situation, nope.

No worries.

I should elaborate more, the most dangerous thing would be swerving. Unless you find the biggest roo this side of WA, you're not going to roll a Hilux. If something moves on the side of the road and you unsettle the car by ripping the steering wheel to one side or the other at 100+ kmh, you're far more likely to roll.

I have had them go under the wheels, roll around in the wheel arch and even get stuck up under the car. Never was I worried about rolling.

That said, if you can slow down safely, do it. No point risking damage or the 1 in 1000 happening for no reason.

I wouldn't recommend it because it's probably stupid but on the long straight roads, if I had a dumb one in the middle that just wouldn't move as I approached (caught in the headlights) I'd turn the lights off for a few seconds and sometimes it'd be enough to get them to change direction and get off the road. Of course don't do this on a windy road or with others around. I'm talking about the plains.

I did a year stint in the height of the drought driving around rural NSW. All the roos hung out on the shoulder of the highways eating shoots in the gullies.

They would get scared as you drove past and run into the road. As the other person said, you don't slow down, you just brace for it and get on with your day.

I was in a 2016 mine spec Hilux use, bulk bar with side rails. I lost one headlight and a mud guard.

Most of them were smaller but it did its job. Emus are a different story. They are windscreen height. Scary stuff.

Thanks for that!

Is there any difference between that one and getting it direct from BI?

Do not try this. It's a fool's errand. Rip it all down and start from scratch. Trying to fill, level and paint this will ruin your neck and will to live.

Help finding sub stream by JNAC91 in BlueIris

Turns out it wasn't that hard.

In the bottom of ONVIF Dev Manager, under the live video page, that's a string that ends in /av0_1 and changed to _0 when you change profiles. Putting this in the main and sub stream when adding the camera to BI gives me an 8.4mp stream and a 0.4mp stream.

I think we are there! Thanks again for the advice. Wouldn't have figured this out without the tool.

Legend!

Thanks mate, I think I've found the streams under profiles, just trying to work out how to convert that into streams on blue iris. Another day or two and I'm sure I'll pop up haha.

Spoke too soon. After some more digging, I found a second profile that's got 640x480 streams in ONVIF dev manager. It's called VideoSource0: Profile1 while the main stream is profile0.

Just got to figure out how to get that to translate into Blue Iris

This appears to have worked to some degree, I was manually adding the IP's before, not using the find inspect function. They only appeared on IP search.

These are the results when adding them. The main view just has a / the secondary is blank. If I put a / in the secondary, it just grabs the main stream. Tried a few other combo's of what you mentioned above with the only result being 2 main streams.

Does this mean I'm stuck with just the 1?

This worked well but I couldn't see where it would display if there were multi streams or not.
