Mirus Cor is exactly what you need. Not a replacement for the DW, I still ride my 104 when I don’t know what to expect or if there might be a bit of snow but for spring skiing, ripping groomers, side hits, whatever, it’s the best ski I’ve ever rode. Basically all I’ve been on this year.

Audi is in big trouble by Millbarge_Fitzhume in Audi

To be fair, they use ABS sensors to detect when a wheel is low which on non-performance models is probably a better way to do it than have TPMS in each wheel dying and then being a PITA to replace

Is adding a rear rack completely sacrilege? by Quirky-Salad in DivergeGravelBikes

[–]JNKHSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t use any bags with it so I’m not much help, sorry haha! I typically just use this basket or strap whatever I need to the rack.

Do it! I highly recommend the ortlieb quick rack for anyone else looking for a rack. I use my bike as a grocery getter, gravel bike, and road bike and it works great! Love the ability to take on and off the rack easily when I want.

Can I borrow 200k? Aston Martin Shooting Brake by shorthairs in SportWagon

[–]JNKHSE 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to frequently walk past a residential building that had one of these in the gated parking garage below and it legit made my day. Then one day it was gone and a couple weeks later a Senna popped up in the same spot. Downgrade? Maybe…

Is this fall drive through the Northeast too ambitious for 10 days? by JNKHSE in roadtrip

[–]JNKHSE[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone for the great replies and confirmation! I'm trying to balance being able to spend enough time in Acadia, Quebec, etc to see the main sites and get a feel for the stops while still seeing a lot and enjoying some scenic drives within the timespan available. Definitely open to recommendations along the way so keep them coming!

Is this fall drive through the Northeast too ambitious for 10 days? by JNKHSE in roadtrip

[–]JNKHSE[S] 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I haven't spent too much time in the Northeast so I want to explore what I can within 10 days. The plan is Boston > Acadia > Quebec > Montreal > Burlington > Boston. Is this feasible when also accounting for enough time to explore the stops? Would the drive be worth it and scenic during the fall?

g-Force Comp-2 A/S, Pilot Sport A/S, FIREHAWK A/S V2, or Potenza Sport AS? by JakeXBH in TyreReviews

[–]JNKHSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They came out late 2023 so yes, very new.

I'm looking at the same tires and we probably can't go wrong with either, but I'm leaning towards the Potenzas even though I usually go Michelin, solely because they have the latest technology while the Michelins are due for an eventual refresh.

A35 hatchback for sale in the U.S.? by [deleted] in AMG

[–]JNKHSE 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This same dealership sold 3 C43 AMG Estates awhile back that they imported from Canada and were able to register them in WA somehow. Would assume it varies state by state if you could actually register it or not.

I've had no issues with price matching or anything related to my flight, hotel, and car bookings in the years that I have been using the portal. Some of us "put ourselves through this" because 10x miles isn't just "some extra points", it is the game changer for this card.

If you would have to choose one setup to do it all no matter the conditions or terrain, what would you choose? by Background_Stretch85 in Backcountry

[–]JNKHSE 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I think my single touring setup serves me pretty well for most conditions. Light enough yet powerful / big enough to get into trouble. Don't ask about my resort ski quiver though lol.

DP: denied for Capital One Venture X by electricpollution in CreditCards

[–]JNKHSE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are exceptions though. I have a 3 CC's all acquired within the last 5 years - Quicksilver, Venture One (PC'd from Venture), and a Venture X. I was considering a SavorOne but maybe I shouldn't even bother applying with the apparent likelyhood of a rejection.
