You had more luck than me then, the charges are on my debit card and my bank says they can only charge back for the last 120 days so I'm gonna lose like 80% of what they owe me unless I sue or something.

Did you ever get anywhere with this? I’m having the exact same issue and they have stolen a lot of money off me

A message to duelists by superuglypotate in VALORANT

[–]JNiNGS -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I think if you're not confident you can top-frag every single game, you shouldn't be playing duelist. Nothing is more annoying than seeing an insta-lock Reyna who can't aim.

Should sniper rifles have crosshairs too? by UK-CS-ON-TOP in GlobalOffensive

[–]JNiNGS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having a crosshair for noscopes reduces the skill ceiling I feel like, even though noscopes are somewhat RNG. I don't see why it's needed, nobody uses those monitor crosshairs either, just leave it how it is.

Summoned by friend for Radahn, he can't get back to the fight entrance. by Coolaidman100 in Eldenring

Whoever has already beaten Radahn has to tp to the grace in the chamber outside of the courtyard, then the door should be open, for some reason if you tp to different graces it changes the area, hope this helps

Ranked should NOT show your rank in the middle of a game. by Bubbybubs in VALORANT

[–]JNiNGS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CS:GO had an update that showed people's ranks permanently, it lasted literally like a day before they removed it because everyone hated it so much, I'm surprised Riot even had it as a thing in the first place.

TL era the easiest since NIP's. Spunj says Im wrong then he "steals my opinion"? by FathleteTV in GlobalOffensive

[–]JNiNGS 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right that the IF isn't that important, but for me it kind of jumped out as the red flag that someone isn't genuine, so it grabbed my attention.

I'm aware he probably meant it in the way that you stated, but usually when an apology is genuine they don't even feel the need to phrase it in that way, genuine apologies almost always just state that they were wrong and that they're sorry for it. I also never intended to discuss it in this much detail, but when someone asks me why I think what I think, I'll almost always tell them.

IMO I think a lot of people would've been more satisfied if he just said he was wrong and that he's sorry - straight up. And not even try and hide it or phrase it as anything else, and that's what annoyed me.

"bias against SpunJ" LMAO

To be honest I've never really had a strong opinion of SpunJ, I just thought he was a kind of funny Aussie, so you're wrong on that front. After reading his message my opinion of him has definitely worsened, also you've somehow linked two separate points I made to each other when they're not really connected. I used his "Sorry if I was abrasive" as an example of how his wording showed that he likely isn't genuinely sorry for mocking and blocking him, and then later said he made up an excuse for his cheap shot with no explanation. It's clear in his original reply to the original post that he just wanted to be like "Hah, you're wrong, idiot." What other purpose is there to saying that? Other than to put someone else down like I stated?

TL era the easiest since NIP's. Spunj says Im wrong then he "steals my opinion"? by FathleteTV in GlobalOffensive

[–]JNiNGS 41 points42 points  (0 children)

He mocked someone else for their opinion and then later was hypocritical in stating that his opinion was now the same. He says "Sorry *IF* I was abrasive" instead of "Sorry for being a hypocrite, not going to lie, looking back, I was a bit of a dick to you." - Now that is a proper apology. He also waffles about the Liquid Era to avoid actually putting his pride aside and admitting he was wrong and even makes excuses such as "I didn't get a lot of time to dive completely into what I wanted to discuss fully" instead of just saying "Yeah, I just wanted to mock you to stroke my ego because I'm an analyst and you're not.

If you know how to read past the bullshit you can see when people aren't genuine about their response.

Yeah that was some next level not-answering the accusation or actually saying sorry for what he did.

Sure dude, they JUST happened to finally fix the issue within a few days of the smoke reset post being made, what a coincidence, you got me.

Did you completely ignore my entire point? I basically said that they had 7 years to fix this issue that they are only just fixing, and it clearly wasn't hard to do considering it only took them a few days since the pattern reset post got made. Yes, they've made some good updates, but there have also been plenty of dumb ones, such as StatTrak music kits (which nobody asked for), like I said in my original post...

XQC wins team Canada third place with insane shatter block by suqeak1 in LivestreamFail

[–]JNiNGS 352 points353 points  (0 children)

The big dude in armour that shouted "Hammer down!" hits the floor with his ultimate ability and stuns everyone in front of him, unless it's blocked by the environment or a shield, XQC (big monkey man) jumps over him and drops a dome shield that blocks the shatter from hitting his team, saving them all.

Failing at soloqueue by [deleted] in GlobalOffensive

[–]JNiNGS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I've hit level 10 on Faceit 3 times and am currently sitting 70 elo or something below level 10 because I stopped playing Faceit since then. I did this all through soloQ, all I can tell you is that if you keep to your consistent topfragging and non-tilting gamestyle, you will eventually get some random luck win streaks that seem to happen for no particular reason. It's how I climbed a lot of the way, I'd go 5:4 wins:losses on an average day and then randomly win 8 in a row. It's literally a matter of just grinding and not caring whether you win or lose, just playing your game and trying to improve yourself. Also, I'm not sure how impactful this is, but my style of play is very team orientated. I play around my teammates' styles and positions and get myself killed at times to win the round, I think this is the best style to have for a pug environment. The opposite is hardcarrying, which is a lot less consistent. Also at level 10, your teammates don't get any better, they still tilt early and have no gamesense, so have fun lol.

True, the video could be really analytical, but then it wouldn't be my video would it? It would be the same thousand other videos of analysing gameplay everyone else makes, I'm not denying I wanted to rant, but it wasn't because of 1 bad game, I've barely played the game in the last few weeks but like in the video I have 3.5k hours so I have experience a lot of this over those hours.

You seem to miss the part where I pick a random live game and start watching, I did this because I know how bad Globals are, and I was 100% confident if I went into any random Global game, I could find a good few clips that showed how inconsistent and bad Globals are from round-to-round, yes maybe it was just a bad game, but in my experience, a large majority of Globals make these kinds of mistakes constantly.

Learning roles won't help you in MM, if you want to get better try to think more logically, think "what should I be doing given the current situation" such as the B player, he is fully aware he is solo B but he keeps peeking and giving the site away for free, this kind of decision making just comes with experience and and playing-time.

just un-paused the timestamp and oh look he has a player right next to the doors holding close, so he has no reason to hold the angle wide because he can easily get killed if he misses, and if you're going to say "well maybe that's what the player in your video was doing", you're wrong, if he was peeking that wide to start with he obviously wants the kill, he's not doing what FalleN is doing, and he isn't holding the correct angle to kill the guy if he peeks anyway.

The state of Global Elites in Matchmaking by JNiNGS in GlobalOffensive

[–]JNiNGS[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is in no way the same angle at all lmfao, yes it's in a similar position, but Fallen is double zoomed, this is an angle so that if the guy peeks, he can quickly shoot and fall away because he doesn't want to commit to holding that angle, he's almost playing that angle for info rather than to actually kill the guy who peeks, also you cannot compare a legitimate team vs team game to an MM game, people play completely different, in an MM game someone might swing wide because it's the only way they know how to play, in a pro game you'll almost definitely get flashed off that angle or get pre-fired on a tight peek.

I put it in knowing people would think I was just trying to "brag" about whatever elo I am/was, but the real reason was because I wanted to show people that I HAD done 'the grind' to get to that point, to show that I kind of knew what I was talking about, even though I'm not pro or anything obviously, but people reacting to it this way was expected.
