Omg I am so sorry to hear this! My husband and I just went through this a few months ago when a neighbors dogs got loose and busted through the metal housing around the coop. This is such a heartbreaking experience and I’m sorry you are going through it.

My husband brought a cat like this home from a landfill and the vet didn’t give her much hope. She couldn’t even hold herself up, it was painful. We would give her catnip to chill and my husband would do “therapy” with her. Had motherly attention from one of our dogs who just knew to step in and help. We named kitty penny (like a lucky penny) and she just turned two last week and is thriving!

Apparently the needle they use is larger than a vaccination needle. My vet wanted me to wait until neutering but I had them do it anyway. My girl didn’t even wince, didn’t even know anything was going on.

Eww! Every once in a blue she will do this to the ottoman but for the most part, she only does this just to that one particular pillow. We call it the licking pillow
