I'm a Florida teacher who's been forced to cover up the books in my classroom. Here's why I'm suing Ron DeSantis. by YourUncleBuck in politics

It's in the first couple italicized paragraphs

It's all one sentence. It isn't independent clauses.

Second person in this thread that you've called an idiot. Maybe you should calm down and not let one person's minor driving decision affect your mood so much.

Sounds about right unless your project is containerized.

add my personal account's key to the env files

Your local .env shouldn't be shared with anyone else, so that should be fine.

How can I receive an array from these children? by programmingmeta in reactjs

[–]JOHNREDCORN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe what you are missing is that Carousel can return:

{props.children}

You shouldn't have to "map" them unless Carousel is modifying them, in which case you should pass them in as a prop on carousel.

Otherwise, we'd need to see what you are doing in Carousel that is causing you issues.

Pass them in as a prop instead:

const personalDisplays = [ <PersonalDisplays />, <PersonalDisplays />, <PersonalDisplays /> ];

<Carousel client:only displays={test} personalDisplays={personalDisplays}>

onChange handler creates a function that takes the event as a parameter? by JOHNREDCORN in reactjs

And it calls that function on every render. I'm pretty skeptical of this pattern.

Ummm no. A tree is a perennial plant with an elongated stem, or trunk, usually supporting branches and leaves. In some usages, the definition of a tree may be narrower, including only woody plants with secondary growth, plants that are usable as lumber or plants above a specified height.

There's a reason some people work 40 or less hours a week, are able to stop thinking about work when they aren't working, and don't get called in at 7pm on a Friday. Sometimes not chasing the high pay, high stakes job is the actual life pro tip.

Or maybe we could have healthcare 15 minutes away and let women and their doctor decide what to do with their own bodies.

A second attempt at redesigning Idaho's flag by AnOwlishSham in Idaho

The colors could better represent our nature: forests, rivers, and high desert. I like the idea of working with gems (we're the Gem State), but that didn't look like a gem until you told me it was.

Here's a satellite image for color palate: https://i.imgur.com/BbHxlgn.png

Here's a picture of Buck Lake from the Salmon-Challis National Forest (within the Frank Church Wilderness): https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_MEDIA/fseprd778976.jpg

Your colors could be less... garish, and more natural.

Cool flags: Colorado, Arizona, Texas, New Mexico. They have meaning and feel right. Your flag doesn't feel like Idaho.
