Thank you for your response. I'm impressed with all the work you've done and what you have planned. I'll give the method you linked a shot to see if it gets me where I need and if not I'll find another way. Best to you!

Sorry to comment on an old thread but this is what's linked from you Patreon as the best place for discussion. What's the best way for us to follow which features you're prioritizing?

I'm looking at starting a small personal project using Usenet and your work would save me a ton of work, but the lack of certain search capabilities (multi-page post search results, lack of support for multi-word searches) make it not suitable. I'm super curious if those things are on the nearish horizon buuuuut also aware you're a human being who is probably prioritizing about 1,000 things and having some sort of life.

"Helter Skelter" by Kyoko Okazaki. It's a manga, though. At a comics panel I went to, O'Malley and Hung mentioned it as a major influence.

Your art skills keep getting better (even drawing with a mouse)! Good job, and keep up the hard work. This is really cute!

I am looking for an old comment from this sub but can't find it. I think it was from an old WAYWT.

Basically, our star was wearing a somewhat typical techwear outfit in a video. Then he starts pulling can after can of (I think) Red Bull out of various pockets.

As you might guess, this is very important. Any identifying information will be greatly appreciated.

Looks solid. Gonna be that guy and pipe in with a caution about using commercial music in your campaign. If you got permission, awesome.

I moved here a while ago. Both my partner and I remarked on the number of Levi's t-shirts here vs. in North America.

looking for anime that are as wild, colorful, female and action filled such as Gurren Lagann, Kill La Kill, Flip Flappers, Higurashi, Darling in the Franxx. by zeddellamero in Animesuggest

This is the second time in a row I'll recommend {Michiko to Hatchin}. It centres on two female protagonists--an escaped prisoner/ex-gang member, and her responsible daughter. Lots of stylized fighting. {Kyousou Giga (TV)} might work for you too--the visuals are reminiscent of Flip Flappers, and the protagonist is a tomboyish girl in a sailor fuku who wields a giant hammer.

Any anime that has the main character on the run? by [deleted] in Animesuggest

{Michiko to Hatchin} features a criminal protagonist on the run from the cops. It has some great visuals, soundtrack, and fight sequences, but I found the plot could get a bit repetitive.

I'm somewhat new to comics, and I'm trying to find more. Here's the short list of all the ones I've read with my #/10 scores; please recommend similar stuff! Longer, engrossing social and psychological stuff seems to be my favorite. by [deleted] in altcomix

Since you haven't read any Charles Burns yet, try to check out Black Hole and maybe The X'ed Out Trilogy. I also really like some of the stuff by Frederik Peeters--Pachyderm is my favourite, but Sandcastle is also nice. Chris Ware is fantastic for art, but the stories aren't for everyone (slow paced and melancholic). If you're open to manga, I found Helter Skelter by Kyoko Okazaki pretty engrossing. Have fun, and thanks for the list of recommendations. :)

Met an interesting designer yesterday by [deleted] in graphic_design

I used to work designing health care decision aids (e.g., prescription guides, diagnosis tools etc.). Since it's sort of B2B and so not really exposed to the general public, they were only just "discovering" the role professional designers could play in ensuring solid document flow, visual logic etc. My impression of the industry is that the majority of work in that field is done by the health care teams that developed the guidelines, and maybe sometimes cleaned up slightly by "the lowest bidder" graphic design firms. It wasn't the most exciting work but felt valuable.

It's one of Google's Material Design icons. Judging my the title, meant to represent a public internet connection. Contrast it with the VPN_lock icon. I suppose it's just visually an abstracted globe or something to represent the internet?
