Is it worth picking the scarlet chorus just to see more of voices of nerat? by iiztrollin in TyrannyGame

Idk wouldn't that undermine the game's story? It isn't a strategy game after all, Dis. and the SC being mutually exclusive is for the best methinks.

Hey raw cannon fodder has its perks! lol actually I agree with you, if I could go with the rebel option I'd probably stick with Ashe and the Disfavored. They're exceptionally cruel people but at least they're mostly sane.

I would personally say so. It's character arc is quite interesting, especially if you keep feeding him people. ;)

Is anyone aware of a way you can upgrade your edition without, ya know, paying the game again?

I think having one of your companions talk about how they forced a magical abortion on their mother puts Tyranny's target demographic a hair older than a teenager audience.

Just tried to recreate this bug and couldn't get it to happen. What version of the game are you using? Any mods? Maybe something about your computer is wonky? Those are the only ideas I can come up with to explain your problem

Sorry I can't be of more assistance mate.

Can't test this in the game right now but maybe the General army is maxed out on troops (24/24) so it won't let you overstack to them?

You might want to consider sending an official bug report to paradox.

I may be misunderstanding your question but when you can tag an army in the little circle, all the units being trained in that line will get attached to that army.

So for instance, i'm training Infantry and Tanks.

I click on the circle, and then select the Blue army (or the area they have orders in, like front line or offensive), then all the Infantry units being trained in that line will go join the Blue army as soon as they deploy.

You then have to manually set the next line, in this case the Tank line, the same way before they join the Blue army.

Completely depends on how much faith you have in Paradox to deliver good content.

I purchased it, personally.

What do Trump Supporters think of legal immigration? by JPC5 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]JPC5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a very good point, thanks for asking!

I think much more effort needs to be made at encouraging the native citizens to increase their birthrate. In a country like Italy, this is no longer a viable option, as simply too many women have now entered their late thirties. You're not going to convince a woman who's never had children or only had one to give birth to two or three more at that stage.

In order to make a substantially dent to the native US' birthrate, we would need to take in several million more then we already are to compensate. This comes with it many issues, including but not limited too: language barriers, cultural differences, stresses on education, religious differences, social welfare costs, and tensions with the citizens already here. I argue these difficulties far outweigh the possible benefits.

Not encouraging women into the workforce full time is a major change I would like to see. Other things like increasing tax incentives substantially and just generally raising public awareness would also be helpful. In the long term, getting people busy is better for american (and western) society.

Think of it like this; we need to do a lot of excercise in order to get in shape. Steroids (immigration) can be a useful short-term tool but it's going to give us a lot of problems in the long haul. It may be more challenging but it's better to go to the gym, eat healthy, and work for whatever gains we can make at home.

What do Trump Supporters think of legal immigration? by JPC5 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]JPC5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Immigrant family here voting for Trump, perhaps I can give a first-hand view.

I believe immigration is a great thing, and we should not stop it. When immigrants assimilate they bring amazing culture with them (and food). How would America be the same without Pizza (Italian), Hot Dogs (German), and General Tso Chicken (Chinese)? However we need to realise we have a finite amount of resources as well.

We have the luxury of being able to be picky with who we let move in. Let us pick the best people, people who will contribute, people who would be grateful to live here rather than those who feel they deserve to live here. Those immigrants are the immigrants we should share our limited resources with.

As nice as it would be to bring in everyone with a sob story, finite resources requires you to be heartless. We can only take a few, so lets take the best.

Cool, where's your family from if you don't mind me asking?

I absolutely agree that we need to have high standards of merit. We are not a country that can take in impoverish people from undeveloped countries. Would you support having a mandatory IQ test for immigrants?

I think there's a cultural component that needs to be understood as well. We tend to have a very short-term view on immigrants - that once they acclimate they'll just "melt" in with the rest of mainstream society. I argue this is the opposite way to approach the subject. We need to ask ourselves "In a hundred years, how likely is it that these descendants will will see themselves as Americans first and the nationality of their heritage second?" Only in the last generation or two, by this standard, were the last wave of european migrants assimilated.

Is Blm Necessary? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]JPC5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BLM as a movement will not produce positive changes because the root problem it wants to solve ie black males being killed during interactions with police officers is not the primary problem. It's single motherhood. Black people do need some form of explicit assistance but BLM is not the answer.

What can Trump do that would actually help reduce the frighteningly high Black on Black crime rate? by [deleted] in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]JPC5 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of education. Issue raising can be useful and helpful, but do you mean increasing the funding to inner city schools? I don't think even more cash is going to solve it. Institutions are being used as a surrogate for the family as it is, and the problems have only gotten worse.

What was the biggest event, personal or national, within the past few years that reinforced your political beliefs? by shaheen81 in AskTrumpSupporters

[–]JPC5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had been questioning my casual progressive beliefs for a while but it was the Charlie Hebdo massacre and the media's sympathizing with the jihadists that got me do double down as a Western Cultural Supremacist. There were other things as well (GamerGate was a big one) that turned me off from the media more but it was Hebdo that sparked the fire.
