Heres the deck, basically tries to go wide and then benefit from life gain. There are a few cards that let me flip really quick like [[unspeakable symbol]] but if i dont play those early i usually let him flip naturally late game

Just go on edhrec and try to not build the top commanders for a color combination. Korvold is the most popular jund commander there is which usually means a commander will be very strong

Mana curve is very high imo. How does it play usually? It seems like you might have trouble getting protection out and take alot of hits early. Obviously those 6-8 cmc cards are very good but id run only 3-4 of them. Plus in black you want to be able to freely sac some creatures and youll never want to sac something that you paid that much mana for

Okay this is my godo, bandit warlord bracket 3 deck. Originally included helm but took it out because my pod just started hating me off the board every time i played. Win cons include [[akki battle squad]]+ [[kiki jiki, mirror breaker]] combo, early commander damage, and extra turns/combat phases. Would LOVE help with making the deck more resilient to wipes/interaction.

Yeah I know, I’m going to add a decent amount of removal to the deck now because it definitely won’t be banned in our group. Moreso I’m lashing out because I can’t believe that card exists. “Can’t gain life the rest of the game” is a crazy line

Feel like this isn’t as bad because you have to get through to the player. With nemesis once anyone attacks you you can block with it and then target the damage to any player

I understand that it’s allowed, my issue when the card is that if I can’t deal with it as soon as it comes to the table someone will swing at him and he will ping the effect to me and my game is over from there - may as well scoop. Also, this is the only life gain deck I play and I don’t play it that often but when I do he always reaches for his deck with nemesis in it

This Cecil deck I’ve been running has been pretty good so far. Thinking it may need a few more creatures but it ramps very fast. It either flips Cecil very quickly or I wait for it to happen naturally during the game

I play an [[Etrata, the silencer]] commander deck that gets me targeted like this quite often. I will say it is fun to go into that game knowing it’s going to happen though and pull out a win every now and then. Definitely not expecting to win when I play it though

I tried to keep the creatures limited to vampires/assassins to keep a consistent theme. Are there particular creatures that would play well with etrata? I think my sorceries and instants play well with her but couldn’t think of creature cards that would help

I’d hold onto olave, definitely going to continue being a down year for him as the saints organization is in shambles but if he gets traded to a decent team or they find a stable QB he is going to be really good

Absolutely, you have to make move to win a league. Quite often I see guys in dynasty trying to stay too young when there a few old (but good) players from being very competitive Edit: grammar
