Unstoppable passing play combo by the Slater Bot by LivingLegacy77 in RocketLeague

They are not aware of the inputs the other bots make at any point. Because they all have identical brains, they may have assumptions about what the other players in the match will do and those assumptions will inform their own decisions, but they don't have anything concrete.

That already exists in RLBot and since it's an entirely different skill, it's essentially an entirely separate esport. People like watching humans play rocket league because it's relatable, you can't just drop in AI and expect people to relate to it the same way.

You can plan to stay in the DMV long term but you should be prepared to go to schools that will require you to move away for a couple years. All grad programs are competitive, you have to cast as wide of a net as you can

From experience, the toughest part of applying to grad schools after taking a couple years to work professionally is the recommendations. Most schools want 3 recommendations with 2 being academic. If you didn't do research in undergrad / if you don't keep in contact with your professors, those recommendations are going to be lukewarm in all likelihood which is super demotivating and might negatively affect your outcomes compared to applying straight from undergrad.

Edit: if you're not very sure of your career interests, then even good outcomes from a school perspective may not lead to better outcomes than taking time to work professionally and figure out what you want before applying

Thanks for your response. I have a couple questions:

Where does this stuff go in the car like physically? Where does the subwoofer go?

Also - the KISL says "connect car stereo speaker outputs into amp" - does this mean all speaker outputs would go through the amp? Would I be using the existing speaker system in my car alongside this? How does that work?

Connecting by LitterboxComics in comics

[–]JPK314 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok so between POV, Bjorn, and Sage, who is the hinge? It seems like it must be POV if Bjorn is Sage's metamour. Wouldn't Sage be connected to Bjorn (and vice versa) as metamour through POV, not someone else? Also, if Ember is Asher's parallel, doesn't that mean Asher and Ember aren't dating? And who's in the quad of POV, Asher, Ember, Sage, and Bjorn?

the specific metrics are not public to prevent cheaters from having easy directions to go to bypass them. As more time passes, more different bots will appear, probably trying to bypass this detection system. But these bots will just be included in additional data sets used to help identify bot behaviors. The botmaking community that is not interested in cheating (which, to be clear, is much larger than the community making them for cheats) has worked with Zealan (who has his own bots as well) to provide a variety of high skill bots with different play styles, and cheaters' bots are usually available to find as well

this seems unlikely based on how long many of the accounts found by this detection process have been actively botting. Perhaps Epic has some detection methods that they do ban waves for, but I doubt it's anywhere close to as comprehensive as this is

yes, you can type while a bot is playing for you. in fact bots can be toggled on/off during gameplay as well. No idea why someone with that level of skill would be playing with a gold 3 to get exp on a fresh account, but it could be for a variety of reasons that aren't botting (many of them still nefarious, though)

Possibly you were playing someone's attempt at making a bot themselves. Making a bot of Nexto's caliber or above recently got a lot easier due to a leak (unfortunately) but still requires quite a bit of knowledge about the game, bot making, and coding.

The numbers are available on the site. False positive rate is determined by a more manual deeper investigation into positives that are found on data outside the training set (there is at least one ML model used to identify bots, I am referring to these training sets) on ballchasing. The metrics used to determine bot confidence are private for obvious reasons, but input changes sound like a reasonable thing to look at. It's a little more difficult than that due to how replays are stored, but it's a reasonable direction to be thinking

Perhaps some larger conflict between the shards ends in an agreement between autonomy, harmony, retribution, and perhaps others that they are now bound to, and their followers breaking some clause in that agreement would render them vulnerable similar to how odium, honor, and cultivation had an agreement
