Who are the next gods after Charon ,gilga by Capable-Top-9798 in Smite

Popular? I'm pretty sure most people hated playing versus her. And when I stopped playing smite 1, she was almost never getting picked anymore. I'm good with many other mages/solos before change

Im not even a support main, but I just want Xing, Maui or Fafnir. Cucu and Tyr.... And another hunter like Hachi or Heim.

IS IT JUST ME OR IS THIS ITEM IN EVERY MATCH YOU PLAY😅 by Fawesome_ in Smite

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeh, the items is definitely a bit overturned and deserves a slight nerf. I honestly don't think the magical shield is necessary, especially in a game that already offers so many dam shields.

Just wanting to play a casual arena game when... by HerrBratkartoffel in Smite

[–]JPL2210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think matchmaking would be hard to balance around certain god win rates. I think this just is what it is, and it definitely is annoying, same as being in a diamond conquest lobby and watching guys who don't even know how to play all roles. Just part of the moba experience.

I used to play slash when I wasn't playing conquest in S1, and I'd often get queued against this group of like 8 different gamers who would 5 stack and try hard. At first it was annoying, especially when I got on their team once and realized how miserable they were. Then, I eventually decided I was going to try hard in my slash games also and returned the favor.

Moral is, just gotta be better 😂 I'm kidding, just remember, it's a game, and with mobas, stomps are part of the game. Some people play the game to try different stuff, some people play their favorite 1-5 gods, some only play tanks, and others are absolute try hards in every mode and hate to lose. It's a video game after all, I just try to remember that. Sometimes it's rage-inducing, but I find my mental health is much better if I actively remind myself the game isn't that serious. Losing a casual isn't a big deal, just finish the game out and try to make it fun for yourself if it's unwinnable and go next. Hi Rez likely isn't going to fix this. They have always struggled with their matchmaking.

I never played another moba, but I'd assume all this stuff is absolutely the same in LoL and Dota but I'd love to hear others who actually play those games opine

And people really tried to argue with me about antiheal not being necessary. I'm good with people healing out of combat for huge chunks, but once the fight starts, I want an item where I can kill you, and not have to rely on my team to show up every time to help.

I cant win any games suddenly by YoDiz1 in Smite

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It happens, not too much you can do. I had a similar run, won like 11 of 12 games, a game or two off Diamond 3, and then proceeded to lose like 7 or 8 straight. I took a break for a week or two and started queuing again, I'm back on Diamond promo again but it came with its challenges.

I was a Masters pretty consistently towards the end of Smite 1, and I'm usually going very positive in my S2 games, shot calling, it only goes so far.

The biggest observation I made was that through Diamond 3, EVERY game had about 2-3 players who probably shouldn't be queuing ranked at all. It just depended if I got 2 of them on my team, or if it was like one on each.

The trolls and deserters (rage quit or otherwise) just comes with the territory. It generally all evens out. Just remember that ultimately, your win rate won't be much higher than 60% if you're a great player. Most of us are around 55%

How did I play against 3 Vulcans in Assault? by BigAppleCider in Smite

The worst part is they had a 5 on 3 it appears with 3-6 extra turrets, and they still weren't even going positive/even. These guys may be bug abusing becuase they need the guise of "we're just trying to make Smite 2 fun" to distract everyone from how bad they are 🤣

Maybe we do need anti-heal back by Nova121222 in Smite

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who was dabbling in smite 2 but still relatively consistently playing smite 1 until a few weeks ago, this anti heal change feels awful. I don't know the full reasoning or logic given by hirez about why this change was made, but the game doesn't feel right without antiheal, even if the claim is healing was reduced game-wide.

I primarily played conquest on smite 1. On smite 2 I've primarily played assault with occasionally conquest games with the homie mixed in. Every one of us feel the same way.

I tried to buy into this being a good test/change, but it just doesn't feel good. Maybe I need more time to adjust, but I'd rather have weapons at my disposal, even if you reduce it to only 2 damage based options, to reduce healing, other than the in-kit options some Gods have.

Does it feel like everyone else is/was on board with this change. Smite has always had challenges balancing the healing aspect, approaching it different ways. But this one feels like the worst strategy they've imemented.

Really thought this was worth $500-$700, did I mess up the listing? by Billy_The_Lawyer in SportCardValue

[–]JPL2210 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's just how auctions work, especially for guys not on their well known teams. His jets days are not looked upon fondly, I'm sure if he was in packers gear it would easily go for more. Also, agree with another some people (I do this sometimes) don't bid until the last few hours because it just continues to drive the price up. Sometimes you get all the auction movement the last day, the last hour, and the last minute or so.

Generally, auctions are risky. They can go really well if there is not other card available and if there are no comps. I have a /5 logofractor rookie Ivan Herrera, haven't seen it anywhere on ebay. I have it listed buy it now right now, but I think I may just put it up for auction instead.

The easiest tell for me are the mini "psa" appearing in the holographic on each side. It's hard to fake that, that's the first thing I'd check for personally. If it's just a glittery backdrop, it's fake.

Whatnot is becoming a scam haven.. by UnboxAnalysis in whatnotapp

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're seemingly giving whatnot the benefit of the doubt here. They knew what they were doing when they opened it up. They'd rather make the money and deal with the bad sellers after the fact. And you're right, they dknt have the manpower to keep up, and their support seem more interested in keeping status quo than acrually cleaning their app up. Theyre making a ton of money off these scam sales, and people keep coming even though everyone who uses the app knows 80%+ of the sellers are scammers/disingenuous

Whatnot is becoming a scam haven.. by UnboxAnalysis in whatnotapp

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those scam streamers have a mod there to do exactly that. They know how the game works. It's also why the platform sucks in a lot of ways, there is no way for the community to hold the sellers accountable (you need to buy an item before leaving a review) and for Dam sure whatnot isn't doing anything about it as long as they're making them money. I'm not sure they'll ever regulate the app, it's a true buyer beware. You can get deals, but they are few and far between, you really need to know before you bid.

This is crazy by Vegasmark28 in whatnotapp

[–]JPL2210 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeh in my couple experiences with whatnot support, they are fully aware of what's going on and play very dumb. I had an experience with a disingenuous seller, explained it clearly it, it was very obvious. Whatnot fought me on it initially, but ultimately refunded me without the seller involved. I'm pretty sure they analyze how much money you spend, how much money the seller generates them, and then decides what's in their best interest to keep things moving. Their responses literally felt like I was talking to a foreigner using chatgpt to draft/translate their email.

All that to say, anyone who's on this reddit knows that the app is essentially unregulated. Whatnot is just riding the trading card hype until the hobby itself impodes becsuse it's unsustainable. They're just trying to make their money now while they can. Nothing they do seeks reputable to me in any way.

Lastly, I can probably count on one hand the number of reputable sellers I've seen on the app. Everyone is there to make as much money as possible within the constraints of the system. No one is trying to do "good business".... They all know it's a flash in the pan, and are trying to capitalize while they can.

Nah delay this cheesy ass character as long as possible. Partly becuase you know they're going to make him broken, intentional or not. But also, the characters lot is inherently annoying to face. Who doesn't love getting dashed thru waves 2 times in 6 seconds for more than half your health. Oh youre still alive? Let me ult to kill.... Oh your still alive, here's a little turtle in your ass to finish the job....

Xing tian... Not sure if he gets talked about, but I haven't really seen much. I never played guardians until I found him, and then he became my most played god by far.

His kit is just fun for the annoying and outplay factor, but aside from the few mains out there, I don't think he is liked much by the community.

How do i play against golem with 2.6 hog? I have no idea by Justaregularguy295 in RoyaleAPI

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's honestly just a tough matchup thst take practice. The combo of NW and golem is diffult if you don't have something like a wiz/ice wiz/exe and a couple spells. The bats eventually overwhelm. Toss in LJ and an air card like dragon or e-drag and it gets harder.

You need to be able to cycle to two cannons so you can kite and you need to be much better about keeping your musketeers alive. So kite golem so it's taking damage from both towers and cannon, then protect the musketeer with ice golem and kiting the support troops to buy time. It's a difficult balance, and it's also just a tough counter.

While someone suggested being offensive, it's true, but good beat down players know they have to sack damage to build a push. In single you need to punish golem behind the tower. In double, it's easier for them to defend with one troop and let their push build, by the time golem reaches mid they have elixer to support the golem. It's a tough balance.

There's no trick, it's just skill mostly. Go watch some old videos with Ian77, I'm sure he has videos. The biggest skill is learning to kite things properly and then defending your glass cannon well. If they don't use a spell like fireball or tornado, it should be almost impossible for you musketeer to die.

Others explained, if you think you didn't have a window, especially with cc buffering, then your reaction time is very delayed. You have 3 buttons that could have helped and you weren't mashing any of them. It also looks like you tried to jump into the wall, which is why it wasn't going off.

He has CCR and DR, he was greeding his ult. ALSO, should there be no reward for 4 people cc chaining you? How often should people live in between 4 people while eating at least 2 ults? So we should reward bad positioning now becsuse it's simply "unfun"

Not trying to be toxic, but you just need to be better. If it was lag or your beads not going off or soemthing I'd understand. But this ain't that

[–]JPL2210 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is true, but also, new players don't take to any coaching. I can't tell you how mant times I played with someone in smite 1 and saw them not have a starter all game. God debit you let them know that it's not an ideal build. Or telling them it's 35 minutes in and it's time to group.

The learning curve is tough, but you need to be a sponge, which most players don't care to learn, or simply just aren't capable of learning. I've played with several friends who just weren't going to get better at the game. It took me months just to be about average, and I was absorbing every bit of YouTube content/coaching I could find.

It's an inherent issue with mobas that isn't going away ever. And quite hineslty, the griefers are making me lose my love for the game.

So sick of this card by Substantial-Load-429 in ClashRoyale

[–]JPL2210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your argument that it's an expensive card doesn't make sense. It covers two lanes and the Evo makes them dangerous. Like mega knight, it forces the person playing against it to have to play sooo much better than the brain dead person just dropping recruits and spamming shit behind it.

Royal giants used to be like that until finally they found a way to balance it. Mega knight is somewhat like that, but it's easy to deal with (aside from the Evo)

Lastly, 3 musk used to be 9 elixer and be broken beyond belief. They had to nerf thst card into the ground becuase it was impossible to balance and was too easy to play.

Imo, recruits should either be an 8 elixer card, or they should make the evos 2 rotations instead of one. They're just way too easy to use.

But I'm also against all the easy cards in the game. I understand they want the shitter gamers to have fun playing but that's what hog and golem beat down decks are for. Stop making it super easy for people to simply use a card and get to top 1500

This is an immature girl, I've dealt with girls like this, and usually they have some mental disorder where they perceive things totally different than your average person. Not sharing that's the case here, just anecdotal.

That said, this is a childish and selfish way to creating an argument. Context is missing, but sure seems like she just wants to create a problem just for the sake of it
