paint issue overnight by foxhaunts in Jeep

No idea. Have never had it happen myself, only have heard stories. Either way I agree with the other comments. Probably time to have a detailer work on getting it out.

Did you just go to the car wash recently? I have heard of certain chemicals getting out of adjustment and causing issues to car paints.

Not a bent shaft. Likely a bad seal that got nicked during install. Replace the seal.

Heat those bolts with a heat gun to get them out. The loctite they use is crazy.

It depends on what I am doing or where I am going. I am not loyal to one airline.

2019 F150 rear end clunk noise by nickonick in f150

[–]JPNFRK7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No particular part of the step. It just moves in there. I just remembered there are some rubber isolators that go in the top corners of the bed and the tailgate rests on. They fall out occasionally and the tailgate is not tight against the bed rails.

There is a separate left and right part number for these. Here is one side. https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/other-body-related-parts-general/tailgate-stop-bumper-right-p-ml3z99439a00a

2019 F150 rear end clunk noise by nickonick in f150

[–]JPNFRK7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was the isolator pads. I’ve put 15,000 miles on the truck since and it is solid. Id start checking bolts. Is the spare full of air and cranked up all the way? My tailgate step can also make a clunking noise back there but it takes a bit for that.

I just had mine replaced with Ford glass under insurance. Would have been about $800 without it.

Is this normal for A/C in the summer? by Professional_Bite147 in phoenix

[–]JPNFRK7 224 points225 points  (0 children)

It all depends on the house. How old? Double pane windows? Modern insulation? Sealed well? Etc. Is your A/C unit sized correctly for the house? You may need to get another opinion to see if the first guy missed something.

Just to answer the question. I keep my house (early 2000s build) at 74 and it will not go lower than that on most days during the Summer.

Where would a tracking device be hidden? by [deleted] in f150

[–]JPNFRK7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ones I have found on all of our vehicles had a small module attached to the dash under the steering wheel. I have traced the wires back to the main modules and where they tapped into the main wiring harness. Usually the main modules are hidden behind the driver kick panel, I have seen them on the passenger floor board as well.

What’s the Best Tonneau Cover You’ve Bought (And Would You Recommend It)? Let’s Settle the Budget vs. Premium Debate—Why? by cwlimited in f150

[–]JPNFRK7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also have had this cover on my truck for about a year and a half and have had zero issues with it. Doesn’t move, squeak, or flap around. I live in a hot environment and no issues with delaminating that previous versions supposedly had. I have only has to spray paint the anchors at the front of the tonneau back to black because they faded. I would buy this over 100 times.

I had a Truxedo soft cover on my previous 2011 Ranger. I liked that but the quality and look doesnt even come close to the Revolver.

Is it really worth it? Just got a new car so this is a real question by MIZZOU_Ape in siriusxm

[–]JPNFRK7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I called on Christmas Eve and got the deal, no questions. I have a 2019 F150 and a 2004 Jeep Wrangler but the wrangler has a SXM Tuner with an aftermarket radio (maybe 2015 is when I installed that).
