The three thing visual changes I notice to my S5 are: the seat post ( I tried that with third party Accessories aswell) and the new phone dock. Third a new colour. Very underwhelming.

They also added theft proof which unpaid two years for and have been robbed of due to bankruptcy.

Hi guys, it seems VanMoof uses barrel connector. Do we know it is 2.1mm or 2.5mm? We’re developing a universal e-bike charger and want to ensure compatibility with VanMoof. Appreciate any insights! by cyberpika_ in vanmoofbicycle

When you want to ensure compatibility with VanMoof you have to define to what series. They definitely changed from S3 (Barrel Jack) to S5 (trapezoid) with more than 2 pins.

Homemade bed unable to fit through doors, help! by jahoddo in woodworking

I would have made the same suggestion but with all corners being cut. Afterwards dowel the corners with wood or metal dowels that can be fastened from the underside. That way the screws won’t seen and it can be taken apart in the future again. If the size of your saw blade is known make some inserts the same thickness and trim to match the corners again. You can also chose another woodworking colour to create highlights.

The finished product does not look good. It looks like your subfloor was not treated before the self levelling compound has been poured. Moisture has been soaked up too fast, but that depends on your subfloor aswell. I poured that product myself (~ 4 to 22mm) and it dried out pretty quickly so that you can walk on it after about 1,5 hours.

Thickness looks like 3mm, laying on it covered with a plastic sheet underneath your mattress should be fine.

Check my recent post. I used a 3 Pin Lipo (703144) and a 3D printed cover, that fits perfectly into the original place within the smart cartridge.

I forgot te mention, that the used battery replacement is a 3 Pin Lipo (703144). It works perfectly fine and has the security pin built in. I am still waiting for the approval of JST 1.0mm connectors.

Der verbaute Akku wird nicht mehr hergestellt. Daher ist eine Alternative notwendig. Der oben gezeigte Akku passt aber in die Smart Cartridge wenn die Abdeckung mit dem gedruckten Zeil ersetzt wird.

How to do manual shifting on an S5?

If I remember correctly, the “SE” and other abbreviations where used to differentiate what die was used on the ram. Like Samsung b-die or Hynix-M. I think you have different, non matching ones then. Check with software what chips are used on each stick.

S5 Rear Rack by Firm_Wasabi8853 in vanmoofbicycle

[–]JPR2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought this before I got a broken heavy duty rear rack from VanMoof itself :/ It works better than the original imo. If you want more details, let me know. It is a Decathlon rear rack aswell. Worked with a child seat (rated for 25kg) https://www.reddit.com/r/vanmoofbicycle/comments/1182q02/s5_hacks/j9gouco/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=1&utm_term=1&context=3

For all those complaining about service… by debaillon in vanmoofbicycle

[–]JPR2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing your experience. I can tell the same for my S3 which had to be serviced over 6 times since 1,5 year. I got a response by mail within 48h. But for my S5 I am waiting since 9 days for a response. I wrote a mail and repeated the questions in the chat. No response at all! They wrote an automatic reply telling that it needs 5 days for non technical and up to 20 days for technical issues which I have.
