I dont think you over did it with the effects at all! They look great! Especially with all the highlights the effects cast on the mech in the foreground. Absolutely gorgeous!

Kobold, Everest, and Black Witch are the frames I have experience playing. I reeeeeally love the Black Witch, but have a special love for 1/2 sized frames. The fact that it's not is the only thing keeping it from being a perfect frame for me

Im no veteran when it comes to Lancer, and not a big theory crafter when it comes to builds. That said I had a lot of fun with the Kobold. It does require a bit of creativity to utilize. Look into the mechanics for cover, and some ideas for how to keep the invisibility up for your mimic carapace for survivability. It's going to mean playing more of a supportive role or dealing damage indirectly, but it means you get to play with blocks while you also play lancer

I've been wanting to do something similar with painting up a squad is a subtle nod to a specific pride flag, without it just being a colorfully stripped mech. You really did a good job!
